  1. Boxters are nice, so are Caymans (Caymen?) Sawr a new Compass today with tan leather interior. Looks nice. Can't get past the exterior design of the Compass, however. The Patriot is very Jeepy, and that's a good thing, imo. After tomorrow evening, I'll know if the trigger is to be pulled. I went to visit it today again. They have it parked way out back.
  2. Good to see they're considering a body-on-frame design. The fact that it'll be "global" is interesting. Will it match the Ranger/Colorado in size then, or go smaller? And if it's global, can a diesel engine be far behind? I am encouraged by this. The unibody Dakota was not sounding cool atall, imo.
  3. YES, watch it blow all over your windshield, blocking your vision, so you crash head-on into some old lady's clothesline festooned with her bloomers.
  4. Kurd
  5. I think the Subaru will be the better looking fraternal twin in this family. Is there no way to style a modern coupe so that it has a longer shelf life? I see this as too trendy to ever become a classic.
  6. It's a nice driving little 4X4. I do not feel claustrophobic while driving it, and over-the-shoulder visibility is just fine with the square windows. Payments would be $100 higher per munt than the Cruze. This dealer offered me $2000 more for it in trade than the first place I went. And it's packed with features for the price.
  7. I would be so dejected I'd want to crawl in a hole. That's a goodlooking Corvette, too.
  8. They can delay it indefinitely if you ask me... I think they need a Li'l Hustler revival below the Frontier first, esp with these crazed, foaming CAFE standards looming, but also because the Titan has been a POS.

  10. Nice '87 Cutlass Supreme coupe, silver. Nice '64 Valiant 2-door post sedan, maroon, bone stock. Late 70's Buick Skylark X-body RWD sedan, beige, totally stock with young guy driving, rapping along to his tunage.
  11. Starliner
  12. Edmunds.com The 2011 Jeep Patriot was named the Edmunds.com 2011 Lowest True Cost to Own® SUV under $25,000. The lowest True Cost to Own award is based on the projected ownership cost over a five-year period assuming 15,000 miles driven per year. Hopefully there is no harm in posting this.
  13. Keep On Truckin'!
  14. A rig like that should be able to hit 140 mph, no sweat.
  15. Hard to believe you were only 13 when you joined.
  16. Losing a canine companion is a very difficult situation. Part of the reason I've resisted the temptation to get another dog after losing my little Meggie back in December of 2005. Good luck to you in your healing process.
  17. How fast can it go?
  18. That's a badass old Ram, Mr. Bacon!
  19. I woke up with the perfect tan and bread crumbs falling out of part of my body. Should I be concerned?
  20. Circa 1988 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency... hearse. Dark blue.
  21. Very smart, making the plant ultra-flexible. Very good news.
  22. Was unable to see one with tan interior, nor do I see any listed so far in my area on the inventory locator tool @ Jeep®.com. The light-coloured pillar trim and headliner go far to mitigate any claustrophobia, imo, although I'd still like to see one with the tan. With Freedom Drive II, the EPA ratings are 20/23, with Freedom Drive I and CVT, the rating is 21/26. I'd have to travel a good ways to see one of the few manuals with 4WD, which are rated at 22/28. Yup, I am excited and hopeful to break into Jeep territory with a Patriot. We'll see, come Saturday, if they give me a fairer price for my car and a good deal on the Jeep, otherwise I have no choice but to walk.
  23. If those two pups knew there was a cat in that pipe, it'd be off in no time.
