  1. It's a Micro Monte-Mino!!!!
  2. At least their own vehicles are reliable. GM did ruin Suzuki in the US by forcing Daewoos upon them... known junk.
  3. HERE ya go guys. It's October now.

  5. Are they still having their dashboard supply issue? And yes, that PowerShift automatic is weird stuff. Thank God for manual transmissions, they always come through in the clutch.
  6. Moltie, have you spotted a Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
  7. There can BE no promise or guarantee of when a car is finished in a bodyshop. At each step of the process, there can be a delay beyond the shop's control. That said, when the car IS finished, it needs to be done right. A repair ESTIMATE is not a CONTRACT.

  9. Gotta be from being flooded or having oil somewhere it's not supposed to be. Seems temporary, don't it?
  10. Makes me want to cheer! ......<iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GaShrOS8PTk?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  11. Jeez, seems like Chevy filmed this '72 Malibu as it cruzed through PA Dutch Country... what a nice looking car, that '72 Malibu. Does my eye spy a "350" badge on the fender next to "Malibu", or is it a "307"... <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pu-TnCo4yQ8?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

  14. Yeah it can get ridiculous sometimes, when people claim damage that CLEARLY is not related to an accident. Or they pretend like they knew NOTHING about their insurance deductible and they show up at 4:50 to pick up their car and they whine and cry, thinking we'll relent because it's closing time and let them "make payments", or pay it "next week". And a few complain about the most minute issues. It's a shame when they're pre-conditioned to find "something" wrong at delivery. Yeah. I still love what I do though.

  16. Base model '55 Chevy 2-door wagon, brown with cream colored roof.
  17. Mennonites are known for driving "black bumper" cars. They tend to buy black or very dark blue cars, and paint over the brightwork in body color. Some aren't so strict. Saw an example of that the other night... a 1974 base model Torino, black sedan with small hubcaps, in showroom new condition, parked in front of Shady Maple buffet in East Earl, PA... real Dutch Country.
  18. Interesting gallery, KF. Unfiltered and real.
  19. What can I say, I love goblin up some car spots. They put a toothy grin on my jack-o-lantern. Post away, even if it's just some chick in black riding a broom. (sooo sorry)

  21. Nah, it was 3.73, which is the default in that configuration. You can order a higher gear, like 3.23, but that truck was off the lot. Thanks uncle davey, I am itching for another road trip, but I don't know where to yet.
  22. This tank was truly daily grind, with two weeks of urban work commuting and weekend errand trips urban/suburban, no highway travel. My car is rated 26/38 by the EPA, this tank was 30.59 mpg (EPA average is 30 mpg). Not as good as the Fiesta under similar circumstances. The Fiesta was rated at 28/37. The Cruze is a much more substantial car, to be sure, and highway mileage eclipses the Ford, which has a 5-speed manual instead of the Chevy's six-speed. It is still double and more what I was getting with my 2010 Colorado 3.7L/auto, which was getting inexplicably low gas mileage.

  24. Well right now I forget what my second tank ended up at (I posted about it in my "stinkin' green badges" thread)... I think it was 36.85 after coming down from my beach trip excitement and slogging to work for the remainder of that tank. I am going to be fueling it up again this weekend (and this tank has been all work commute), I am going two weeks between fill-ups with the good-sized tank on this car. Mr. Dart, are you sure? Did you push the "MENU" button on the left stalk and then scroll through the menus?
  25. Hey Mud! Happy Birthday! And thanks again for keeping us up to speed on relevant topics.
