  2. Over there, I am sure more of the general public looks at this and instantly thinks "SAAB reskin"... the general profile, beltline incline and windshield all scream SportCombi. Over here, a lot fewer people even know the SportCombi exists for comparison's sake... but that is no excuse. This car should not exist now.
  3. disinterment
  4. Best of luck for a continued recovery, Mr. Trees. I am sure you'll feel physically better, too.
  5. Perhaps it is my imagination, or these photos are clearer, but it looks like they blacked-out the headlamps and backup lamp lenses. Cool.
  6. One more cool thing about VWs... the fullsize, real spare tire.
  7. You're still in a rental car? I thought the Prizm was totalled, you elected to keep it, and it was in your yard. EDIT: I read this before I saw your "a little closer" thread. Sorry.
  8. Sweet ride, Mr. Dator.
  9. Very cool (no pun intended, really). That front end shot blows all other green vehicles into the weeds (where they blend in).
  10. I prefer the Formula theme as well, just a fast car with fewer geegaws.
  11. I guess that's an Olds 307. Not bad, looks decent in the pics, 86Panther. Oh God, now everyone will think I'm dyslexic.
  12. Viper, reread your post, don't you think you went a little over the top? That Cutlass is ideal for you. It is in excellent condition for its age (NO RUSTY QUARTER PANELS). If something breaks or wears out, parts are very plentiful and inexpensive, and it is simple to work on. Your dad can help you fix just about anything on that car... something that cannot be said about any of your newer cars. This Cutlass is a chance for you to be in more control of your automotive destiny, instead of adding to your collection of lawn ornaments... be they Pontiac or Mazda. If something happens with the Cutlass, you will be back on the road sooner, easier and cheaper, guaranteed. I think this Cutlass is a godsend for you. You have reliable transportation to get you where you need to go, and it's cool in its own way. Now if you could find work, you'd be set to start your adult life the way you see fit. This Cutlass is your ticket out (and back, if that's what you want), Cory. Don't be too stubborn to realize that.
  13. I do that, too, and it is a concern of mine. I don't think it would be considered dyslexia, though, isn't dyslexia a reading problem, not a typing problem? Or do I have that backwards? :AH-HA_wink: CMG, I'm a two-fingered typist, as well.
  14. Bobby
  15. Uh oh, I have neat handwriting, too. Should I try to be messier? I'm so worried people will look at my handwriting and judge me.
  16. Camino, omg, why must you attack like an angry leopard? LEAVE SIXTY8 ALONE!!! HE'S A HUMAN!
  17. Borger, you're going to have all the straight guys here (at least 75% of C&G members), walking funny, trying NOT to sway their hips when they walk. They'll be walking into mirrors, checking every detail of their gait. They'll be videotaping themselves... why must you put such fear in your fellow C&Gers? :AH-HA_wink:
  18. No way Jose! Bobby'd keep me up all night with the clink of quarters into the vibrating bed, and PCS snores!
  19. tragic can you imagine being the person who has to go in and cut off the twig-n-berries or the bloody gash from the donor cadaver, to be reimplanted onto the patient? *passes out*
  20. Labia Shenene Temequa Jones <--- Bobby's Drag Performer name.
  21. *involuntary spasm* *falls on floor* *needs drool bucket* Yeah, for sure, Bobby. PCS is Holden my heart hostage. We've had so many sex-charged discussions on our disparate visions for the future of GM. But hey, we all have our points of view, that's why we populate this place, is it not?
  22. If anyone remembers my "Where is Croc?" thread from a while back, the kid in the vid I linked then has a new, even more "emotional", video on YouTube with the very same theme.
  23. This is another genius Mr. Detroit Metal creation... right?
  24. Ha! Have fun down there in South Karolina, or Swaziland, or where ever you're going. We know you'll stop in almost as often as you do now.
  25. I was listening to NPR on the way home. They were playing excerpts from 9/11 ceremonies across the country. It was difficult to listen to. I was tearing up a bit, I had to hide it from people in the next lane at traffic lights.
