  1. Gee thanks for the pic, griffon, that dash is beautiful.
  2. NOS OH MY FREAKIN' GOD THAT PICTURE IS PERFECT!
  3. You all crack me up.
  4. Front end looks very good, and I like the red tails much better. I hope the scooped hood is not standard on V6 and V8 versions. Although the rear spoiler is tasteful, I'd also like to see it without that. I like that colour. Wow, that old Holden PCS posted is sweet!
  5. I was in Annapolis, MD yesterday, and decided to check out the local VW/Cadillac dealership (I bought 3 of my VWs there). They had an all-black CTS4. This car is amazingly beautiful, athletic, elegant... simply a homerun design effort by GM. I absolutely love this car.
  6. "It's pronounced booKAY!" Durn it, ZL-1, sorry to hear that
  7. kick
  8. HA... untrue, Nos. I am like a Tootsie Roll Pop, and that's all I'm gonna say. :AH-HA_wink:

    New car fever

New car fever, it's in our blood. It cannot be stopped. I built my '08 Mustang GT last night, and my '08 G6 GXP coupe the night before. I wish I had money, I'd have me a hot car to compliment my Sierra... I am wishing so hard for a Solstice fastback coupe.

  11. Haha, oook. Hey, what is with all the vids on YouTube of guys getting their butts waxed? Is that like the latest thing, or what? Of course, some of us would be in much more pain than others...

    Pictures!

Mr. Seal, my personal thanks for doing what you're doing. And welcome to Cheers & Gears. One more thing, I don't know what you're smoking, but your mug is not ugly, sir.
  13. I'm laughing because I see no Novas on the road anymore. I DO see old Cavaliers. I know replacement mechanical parts for Japanese cars are/were much more expensive than for domestics, a good reason to junk a Nova much earlier than a J-body. You couldn't buy a carburetor rebuild kit for the Nova, Sprint, etc., you had to get the whole carburetor... at a price that was more than the car was worth at the time, for example. I worked at a GM dealership parts department before going into the bodyshop.
  14. I always love reading this kind of stuff. It seems the mindset at GM was so different then, when there was no question as to which car company was at the forefront.
  15. Did you say... camping???
  16. Godiva
  17. Mr. Getacheck, what in the world are you talking about? It seems to me the Pontiac Vibe had the most warranty claims, as a percentage, of any GM-branded vehicle. Is that what you meant about "...GM called in Toyota to show them how it's done."?
  18. beat up Jeez, it wasn't that hard to link "Italy" to "Timberland", I mean Italy looks like a boot and Timberland makes a really nice boot, duh.
  19. I'm actually not sure, but I'm a "last minute" kind of guy.
  20. I like those Pontiacs, too, only without the vinyl top.
  21. OMG, do you dance in front of a mirror when no one's around? :AH-HA_wink:
  22. Agreed, I was using the 360 feature last night at the site, rotating a G6 GXP coupe (sans stupid wing) in all the colors, and it looks pretty sharp, the sedan too.
  23. When I think of SAAB, I still picture a black, 3 door 900 Turbo. That upright, wraparound windshield was a strong identifier. I'd like to see SAAB come back with a 3-door hatch.
  24. 7 (looks bigger than a Kappa though) 5 (a little "out there", but cool) 1 (much less offensive than the remaining entries)
  25. Cool, Delta.
