  1. Lexus: The Ultimate Boredom Machine zzzzz
  2. I hope they do this and take it beyond the 1LEs of the past as far as content goes.
  3. If they don't like it - screw 'em. Tire smoke is good!
  4. An extensive vocabulary does not automatically translate into writing skill. This becomes abundantly clear when reading Farago's drivel.
  5. Care to elaborate?
  6. Red Barchetta - Rush Night in my Veins - Pretenders Out on the Parkway - Michael Hedges No coffee yet today, I'll think of more later.
  7. No need to apologize. I could give you free advice on the landscape thing if you need it. And, I'll let you guys know if any changes really come to pass.
  8. Thanks Cray, let's just say I'm making a contingency plan to put the cars in deep storage if they don't sell soon.
  9. Thanks for posting the pics! The fenders are somewhat wide for the size of the car - but they look good. This is likely the best looking blackout package of the musclecar era, it's so finished looking. I love the way it wraps around the side glass, hits the tops of the doors and continues down the fenders. My Uncle had one of these (no shadowmask) with the 390 Go-Pack: it was a quick little car.
  10. Correct
  11. Actually, as his friend, I am considering closing or deleting this thread. I don't think any good can come of it. But I'll wait until he asks.
  12. Just wanted to let you guys know that my dad somehow has moved a step or two back from the brink. His situation hasn't really changed, but he's been up and around a bit and present if you get what I mean. There was one night there when I was sure none of that would happen again. Thanks for all of your support.
  13. Any clubsport would, by definition, be a Z28.

    Clubsport

As some of you may know, GM offers a clubsport package for the Solstice as well as some track only accessories to meet SCCA requirements which allow you to take your new Solstice racing at the local road course. My question is, what do you think of GM offering a clubsport package for the new Camaro?
  15. Just making the Z lighter would go a long way toward doing this, gearing and cam grind would be areas they could also work with. It's more about tuning the whole car to do certain things: the Z could be tuned for road course and the SS for brute power and 1/4 mile performance. Suspensions and their tuning can change the whole personality of the car. It won't be as easy as just dropping a big block in the SS and calling it a day, but it could be done.
  16. What is it? What car would you find it on?
  17. I think I'd like to talk with someone who does this for a living.
  18. Thanks for the link,WMJ. Anyone else?
  19. I,m not talking about a place to store a car,Z. I'm talking about preserving the car in long-term storage.
  20. On long term car storage? Some recent guide by someone who knows?
  21. ... the name of our "newest member"?
  22. Very cool,YJ. Thanks for this.

    Work.

It all sounds so familiar *sigh* "rich man in the graveyard, working like a slave. In the end what's your reward, how much did you save?"
  24. Careful, my friend, careful.
  25. Not 100% sure, but I think '81 was the last year for the coupe.
