  1. I love C2s, they are just too pricey(even the smallblocks).
  2. Same here, and I've got a truck and trailer to go get it with.
  3. 'Cuda?! You have a '70 'Cuda? Woohoo! Another C&G project car!
  4. Floorpans are available for it, so that's not a huge issue. As long as the frame is repairable, that car should be restored.
  5. Thanks, I'd really like to know. C&G project car anyone?
  6. Don't let the GA rot,BV. Fix it and sell it or just sell it, just don't let it become a garage monster.
  7. Is this car for sale?
  8. Yeah, school trip to Wilmington. The thing that most bothered me was the small number of welds that held the body together - downright scary.
  9. I've seen one or two on the road here. As ugly as they are, that's one or two more than I expected. I even see more of those hideous Ridgelines than FJs.
  10. I watched them build Chevettes: I'll never own one. I'm with you on the $h!boxes,Mightymouse, I had fun with a bunch of them(made money too). Good luck with whatever you do BV.
  11. C3 would be the most likely vette for me. The ZR1 will likely be gone by the time I'm ready. A friend of mine is selling a C2 though and...
  12. It's about freedom- period. I'm glad to see at least one nation actually expanding freedom instead of restricting it. Prohibition is stupid- didn't we learn that quite a while back?
  13. This idea has merit, there's a ZR1 for sale locally w/low miles... ...and it's black!
  14. Until the LSx engines debuted. :AH-HA_wink:
  15. His point seems pretty obvious to me,Croc. And, I agree with him.
  16. Well, I see this is the debate that never dies. I'm too busy to show up for a few days and the thread is twice as long. I wonder what our GM lurkers think of all of this. Good points made by many here, but I stand in exactly the same place I did at the start of this topic. Meanwhile, the Kappa cars change minds about GM every day.
  17. Nope, I feel sorry for you. :AH-HA_wink: I own a Honda roto-tiller, but that doesn't mean I want to drive one of their cars.
  18. Maybe early C3? Dunno.
  19. I've owned dozens and dozens of cars, but here is an interesting variable. I have never owned: a Corvette or a Convertible
  20. These ads are on TV now, and man are they ever strange.

    ARRRRRGH

LOL, it's just that my projects tend to last years. Too bad the Camaro's previous owner won't be reasonable, that engine should be with the car.

You certainly work fast. Is the bad engine a #s matching piece? If so, I'd save and rebuild it over time.
  23. I don't really get all the focus on interior details around here. Sure a good looking interior is nice to have, but if the gauges are easily read, the controls are easily used and the seats are comfortable, I'm usually happy. The rest of the vehicle is far more important to me. This looks like a fine interior to me (what I can see of it).
  24. I just felt like posting it - so sue me.
  25. BV: I know about the loan because I have done it. If you want the car in your name, you will need to get a personal loan instead of a car loan. ( the age of the car means you probably don't have a choice anyway) Expect the interest to be high since it will be an unsecured loan. If your heart is set on having a BMW, do yourself a favor and look at conventional 3 series coupes, the TI is BMW's least desireable model in recent history.
