  1. Hopefully most of them stick with the Lucerne and don't do such things to the LaCrosse.
  2. That'd be a waste of your money, no one would ever honk. As for me, it'd be pretty sweet to do some type of forced induction, headers, and exhaust on the GTO. I'd be happy with just headers and exhaust, though.

  6. Unless the Buick and Cadillac are a lot different, I see no reason for both of them. They should give Chevy the Camaro, Pontiac a $17-30k sedan/coupe/convert (or some combination), and Cadillac $30k+ models. I would assume that the Buick will be $27-37k (same as TSX for the most part), which means a lot of them are just going to be competing against the Cadillac, and you know they're going to make the Cadillac better than the Buick (see the canceled Saab SRX). The Pontiac can be made "worse" than the Cadillac, especially at $17k starting price, and there'd be no overlap.
  7. I guess GM doesn't understand that their situation isn't going to get any better by just killing every program imaginable. I suppose they save money now, but if they kill everything they have planned all their products are going to suck again and no one is going to buy them.
  8. This is actually not that surprising. Not many people are buying nice new houses these days, especially not in Detroit. If that was the mean price, then I would be concerned. Median of $7500 simply means there were the same number of houses sold for less than $7500 (such as the POS ones pictured) as nicer houses costing $200+k (or whatever).
  9. Why wouldn't you return it and get $40 extra?
  10. The Gensis' interior is junk; sat in it at the auto show. (The sedan on the other hand, is quite nice)
  11. Well, GM does do incentives by engine as well. Cobalt SS usually doesn't have the same incentives as regular Cobalts, and 2.2's and 2.4's are usually listed separately, yet still have the same amount of incentives. Corvette/Z06/ZR1 don't have teh same amount of cash back more of the time.
  12. 128i, 135i, 128i convert, 135i convert, 328i sedan, coupe, convert, 335i sedan, coupe, convert, M3 sedan, coupe, convert, 528i, 535i, 550i, M5, 650i, 650i convert, M6, M6 convert, 750i, 760Li, X3, X5 V6, X5 V8, X6, Z4, Z4 coupe, Z4M, Z4M coupe. That's 31 if I counted correctly. I assume if they're doing it only on models with high inventory, that if there are a bunch of unsold 550i's but not a bunch of unsold 535i's or 528i's that you can't get the 2 months payment on the 528 or 535, but you can on the 550i. Therefore, the 5-Series is not considered just one model.
  13. But it's RWD and V8. It's against your alliances to buy a car with said drivetrain.
  14. 97%? Yeah, okay... I'm sure they came up with that number out of nowhere. It's not like it's selling that poorly compared to other things...
  15. Buffalo Wild Wings is sweet, I love it too. There are a ton of restaurants here... as of a couple years ago at least my city had the most restaurants per capita in the nation.
  16. If Saturn is in fact dying, why not just give what would have been the NG Vue to Buick?
  17. Nothing. Regular production has been planned for mid February '09 for quite a while...
  18. The G8 did pretty good considering the economy and auto sales for the month. The G6 sold 2400 and it sold 1300...
  19. And Olds being funded through 2004 when it was killed in 2000 really did a lot of good for resale value
  20. You could get '08 Rams for half price brand new...
  21. I would guess that if BMW imported dumbed-down 3-Series they would sell like hotcakes to people who can't afford the ones with all the features, but I suppose the appeal of the higher priced models may drop if that were the case.
  22. I guess I just feel if the Buick isn't supposed to be that sporty and just a very nice car I don't see why Buick needs 2 cars that are (potentially) so close in size. I mean, the Delta II compact obviously isn't going to be that sporty, so it seems like that would be the whole purpose of the Alpha, but if the Alpha isn't that sporty either, it seems like you're going to have two cars competing for basically the same market. If Buick is getting the Regal from China, a Delta II, and an Alpha model, in addition to the LaCrosse, it will have 4 models in the same space Chevy has 2, unless Chevy gets an Alpha sedan and not just the Camaro. Just doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me. Plus, you already have the Cadillac model. If the Buick model is going to be less sporty than the Cadillac, how much sportier is it going to be than the Delta II model? We've already seen with the Cobalt SS that Delta can be made into quite a corner-carving platform.
