  1. That's what the window locks are for. If you have kids and don't want them to control their windows, put the window lock on. Cadillac should have all four windows auto up and down, Buick should at least have the front windows auto up and down.
  2. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread...96&forum_id=100 Sounds awesome :D
  3. The original post says it will debut in late '07, meaning an '08 MY I assume. As for LaCrosse sales, I think GM is pretty happy with it, it outsells the Century + Regal in retail sales by a good margin.
  4. It'd be good to have them earlier, but I'm not sure they'll be able to get all the tooling done considering the factory that's going to build them isn't done yet (to the best of my knowlegde).
  5. Maybe if they make the a Theta Buick they'll end up naming it Rendezvous. The new X-Over seems a bit bigger and I'm not sure if it's really a Rendezvous, it sounds like a lot more.
  6. The Blade seems to have more features, but I think the RAZR looks better. Depends on what you want I guess.

I dunno, I think the Cientieme concept was more distinctive than the Graphyte, so the same could hold true for the production versions. Buicks should be more distinctive than GMCs because they're at a higher price point too.

How was the interior? Is it similar to the Graphyte concept interior?
  9. This is some promising news for Buick. I really want to see the Lambda crossovers, as I'm hoping they can kick some tail for GM.
  10. Is the interior similar to the concept? Surely not as it was very concept-y. My best bet for the interior would be something similar to the Velite's?
  11. The chop at GMI is nothing more than that, a chop. And to think they even stole it from an artist over on CSS, so lame.
  12. That's a welcomed improvement. The weakest part of the LaCrosse is the front end becuase the grill is too small, IMO. The mesh lower grills where the foglights currently are should look nice as well I think.
  13. Isn't it just the silver one someone already posted in the thread? (The one that is on GMTV, not the Super).
  14. Japan buys billions of dollars on global currency exhanges and thereby artificially weaken the Yen. In addition to it costing less for the Japanese makers to make vehicles, it also costs US automarkers more to sell cars in Japan. This also means that every dollay the Japanese companies make in the US is worth more in Yen in Japan. Last week the Yen to dollar ratio was 114 to 1. A fair ratio would be somewhere in the 90-100 to 1 ratio.
  15. That cloth roof thing is really similar to what was on the H3T concept.
  16. And now the LS looks like a warmed over Phaeton. Yep, new standard. At least the A8 looks like an Audi, which is what it is.
  17. The Japanese are saving $3000 on every normal bread-and-butter car and $12000 on every SUV and luxury vehicle they sell compared to the Americans makes because of the Japanese government tampering with the Yen (and therefore giving the Japanese a huge trade advantage when it comes to currency). Hopefully that sums things up.
  18. There was an article in Monday's Autonews today about the Yen and how lots of people think it's unfair. Toyota/Honda/Nissan/etc., save an average of $3000 on EVERY normal car made, meaning Civic, Accord, Camry, Corolla, Altima, etc. AND, on every luxury sedan and SUV (not just luxury SUVs though) they save an average of TWEVLE THOUSAND DOLLARS per vehicle. I'm not going to do the math, but when you sell about 4.5 million vehicles a year, and a good portion of them are SUVs and luxury cars (and some expensive crew cab trucks that are probably in the same profit range as the SUVs), you're going to be saving BILLIONS.
  19. Looks somewhat like a Phaeton as moltar said. I felt the hood was way too long compared to the rest of the car in a profile shot. I'll take a GS over this any day.
  20. Ehh, it's kinda weird I think. It reminds me a little bit of the Ferrari concept, the GG50 or whatever. I dunno, it looks weird having the windshield being so much higher than the rear of the roof, it just looks odd.
  21. It reminds me a lot of the 7-Series, but it's less out-there. Personally I think it's a bit boring, but definetly better than the current LS. Does anyone else think the hood is out of proportion with the rest of the car in this pic?
  22. Reserve makes me think of the Army and Navy, I don't think I like that too much. It also sounds like it's second rate. "Reserve" players in sports are the ones that aren't as good as the "starters." Super doesn't sound as bad, but I really don't like it much either.
  23. The grill is similar to the Terradyne. Does anyone have that old PM rendering of the Sierra with the huge grill? The grill is pretty big on this too so I'm wondering if it's at all close.
  24. Was it a 5.3 or the FWD Northstar? Or something else maybe?
