  1. I never knew that. I thought Golf and Polo were meant to have some sort of thematic tie. I think Gulf would be a nice name, but of course that wouldn't make much sense now either.
  2. I prefer the Rabbit name... I always thought Golf was an odd name. Rabbit is a fast, nimble, cute animal. Golf is a slow, boring, fuddy-duddy game. But I'm really indifferent.
  3. The Derek Trucks Band - Chevrolet
  4. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Mercy Seat
  5. Also, Yellow Lotus Elise Black Aston Martin something Volante Subaru SVX
  6. Black '50s Studebaker coupe Light blue Triumph Spitfire Tan '10 Fusion The cleanest FWD Delta 88 I've ever seen, dark blue Black BMW 850i some amphibious tour buses
  7. Went with some fellow art students to Pittsburgh to visit the Andy Warhol Museum and The Mattress Factory.
  8. Now that I've seen better pictures of it I like it much more. The seating layout is brilliant. I love the dashboard, the way it extends all the way across reminds me (in a good way) of '90s buicks and similar big sedans. It make the car look more spacious up front. The beltline makes more sense too. I don't think it needs a sweepspear identical to the LaCrosse, it just needs to be distinct and it is.
  9. What IS that car in your sig, BV.
  10. Very clean brown '71-2 Coupe de Ville. Not my favorite year, but I'd roll in it in a heartbeat.
  11. We don't have a recycling pickup around here. If you want to recycle you have to take it to the local receptacle yourself.
  12. I had no idea this thing existed, and I wish I still didn't.
  13. The kinkspear (which is what I have decided to call this car's beltline) is very similar to that on the Citroën C4 Picasso. I'll wait for some less reflective and glaring pictures to say if I like it, but I do like the interior very much.
  14. I like the 4, 5 and 6. The smaller ones lack consistency.
  15. Well in general styling, they are very different. But they both have relatively long front overhangs, A-pillar very close to the front wheel, fast rooflines... I don't see how those aren't similarly proportioed.
  16. LOL WMJ I got the joke DF, but you're still wrong.
  17. I voted for the senior Grand Prixs becuase I, too, like their styling, and the Pontiac XFE because I'm a shameless gas miser.
  18. "Like" and "Uh" are convenient filler words when you're trying to think of what to say. I find it preferable to having a second or two pause while speaking.
  19. omg teh proporshins r terrible not really, no.
  20. You kinda look like Foose in that picture.
  21. Better than the panel gaps in my Sunfire's interior, which I can stick my hand through
  22. Looks like a DeLorean as much as the DeLorean looks like a Mercedes 300SL. And if ever a car looked like it's mouth was being sucked into a vacuum hose, this is it. The rest reminds me of a SEAT, which is okay, but that grille is not right. The interior is far too translucent/glowy. The design is interesting, but the lighting and clear plastic make it look like an alien shuttlecraft cockpit.
