  1. I swear, I've sent out so many emails to Toyota-preaching friends in the past month it's ridiculous. Two of them have consciously said, "Wow... maybe we overestimated Toyota." *takes bow*
  2. Hulk Hogan
  3. This is great news! I have to admit, I definitely see a ton of Lucernes on the road now. In a variety of colors too. What seems most popular is Sagemist Metallic with a chrome grille (I feel on lighter colors, the grille should be blackened out), and black with and without chrome grilles (I prefer the chrome on this).
  4. Wait... the whole stereo unit glows turquoise or just the lettering? (I'm just curious). Wow... I'm surprised about such a poor review... I would have thought that the writer would have found more positive aspects like many other reviewers tend to.
  5. dribble (yes, I said it... I was forced to read way too much against my will)

  7. Wow... this is the first 3 series I'm not that impressed by (look-wise). I think I liked the sedan better, but off the top of my head, I'm having trouble recalling what it looked like.
  8. Wow... that Roadmaster looked AWESOME... absolutely stunning... bold, aggressive and luxurious... exactly what Buick needs!
  9. Glad to hear you made it back safely z... anxiously awaiting to see the news in the members' rides section

  12. How? It got a new engine. I think new rims... the rest looks the same to me?
  13. Since C&G wouldn't let me post a single letter for my response, my reply is: "C"

    ...

Well, it looks like the Enclave might disprove that theory. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my hopes up.

  16. Yes, and I'm assuming you'll be able to get an optional heated steering wheel
  17. I was looking for that too.. I'm assuming it's that strip below the wood, that just isn't showing because it's maybe dim, reflecting oddly, etc. The portholes were never visible in any of the spyshots... I believe they're not there because they're cosmetic and serve no mechanical purpose. The production version will have portholes.
  18. I'm sure it'll look tremendously different after the camo is removed. I wouldn't call the concept a Pacifica.
  19. I doubt that... probably just trip computer buttons.
  20. Well, I'm happy--it appears to be staying close to the concept. I'll be happier when I can see some high-res shots. I'm hoping the dash is leather-wrapped as promised... it appears to be if you look closely.
  21. The only car that I've ever seen with a handle to pull down the trunk lid was a Mercedes S500... (well, whatever was before the last generation S500)... it was this little metal piece that stuck out and when you shut the trunk gently, the motors closed it completely and the handle tucked into the chrome moulding. Honestly, what's the big deal with touching the paint? If someone is so concerned that the car is dirty when they shut it, uh, wash the damn car. If not, wipe your hands on a tissue and shut the f@#k up. Sorry, the heat is getting to me and I'm getting testy.
  22. Sure, they have to save face.Question is, how many recalls does Toyota have to get before the general public starts thinking twice?
  23. Haha... kinda something like 50-cent's P.I.M.P. for a tricked out Escalade with tinted windows and spinners?Pump up the bass, have some hookers on the side, and hear, "Cause I'm a muthaf@#kin' P.I.M.P." No. The new Escalade superbowl ads were nice. Although a couple of my friends really disliked them.
  24. I saw that too, and I said, "Finally."My friends who own a Prius and Corolla are starting to get ticked that I keep forwarding them bad Toyota news all the time lately... they, along with their family, swears up and down about them. Hey, it wasn't me who bought a 2004 Prius right off the bat and a month later couldn't get into my car because the battery was dead and everything literally went dead (keyless entry malfunctioned too--no power to open doors or trunk). Car had to be towed out of their driveway by Toyota... I had to move my 13-year-old (at the time), Buick out of the way which effortlessly started up in order for them to car their shiny new spaceshuttle out of the driveway.
