  1. Okkkkkkkay... So, this made news: Woman stuck to toilet seat in mall: Ouch! and... Hundreds expected to attend a masturbate-a-thon: Rub rub!
  2. Toby Maguire
  3. If it looks like that, I'll be very happy. That is LIGHTYEARS better than the current Malibu.
  4. That is an awesome feature to have offered!
  5. Part of me wants to see it, and part of me doesn't know if I can just yet. I know it's been almost 5 years, but the wounds are still fresh. None of my friends will go see it with me... I think I'm the least affected out of all of them... I was just on the receiving ends of the frantic calls. They were more involved than I am. I just remember a few things vividly... not knowing where anyone was, and who was safe, not feeling safe that night when it was dark out, and worst of all, the smell the next day when the winds shifted. It was the sheer eeriness of everything that really got to me.. desolate streets, no cars going westbound on the LIE, the silence, the pain, the sobbing. It almost seemed like even animal life stopped making sounds that day--I don't recall any sounds of nature, like birds or dogs. I don't know why I still expect to see them there when I look at the skyline when I'm driving out west.
  6. OMG... I'M OFFENDED! MY VIRGIN EYES!!
  7. Ding ding ding... that's EXACTLY what I was thinking.Hey... give them product, and it'll get some over to a Chevy dealer. Listen, not 100% of Toyota customers are going to be loyal. As I said, give some good product (nice style, great power, excellent quality--all which Chevy has no reason not to provide), and you'll sway some people over. Keep up the good work, and then the rest will come.
  8. Well, my response:Cloth--they're improving the cloth so it doesn't look nor feel so cheap. That's a good thing. Tire Pressure Monitoring... uh, listen, until you've been 17 years old and working at a CVS in a blizzard, and have a woman come in to ask if someone could change her Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited's tire, when there isn't anymore tire, but a shredded wheel because she didn't notice the loud thumping because she thought that was "just the four wheel drive engaging", don't call it just a gimmick. Some people have NO clue what's going on with their car. They just don't care enough to learn nor pay attention. As for the TV screen? Well, being that I've recently been babysitting for my goddaughter and her 6-week-old sister, and I was driving them around a few places, I can't tell you HOW much I would love to just put the tv on for them in the back seat. When they're teething and have a sore mouth with a dull fever from cutting a tooth, they just had their shots because they're 18 months old, they are hungry, they need a change, and you just need to get to your destination with as few interruptions as possible, and would like to concentrate on the road as much as possible rather than reaching back and trying to entertain the little ones so they are not screaming so loud you could never hear an ambulance drive by, that tv might just help. At home, that's another thing, the tv is limited, and other activities are used. But my God, that tv, just for that reason, would be incredible to have! It also might be that I'm not a parent, and I just don't know all the tricks (and that the last thing she saw was mommy getting into a Prius and driving away (I've been telling her Jap cars bad, Domestics good, since she was in the womb LOL) ---------- Heated steering wheel? Well, when it's that cold out, I wear gloves. It's an option I'd just never use. I want 18's on the LaCrosse CXS. That's my beef. And no more wheel covers on the CX.
  9. Someone shoot her.
  10. OMG... I f@#king LOVE IT! Thank you SO much!!!!!!
  11. But... Honda runs those commercials that say it's the most fuel-efficient company in the country?! Speaking of fuel-efficient... took the Prius to Toyota today to have a recall taken care of and the battery checked out since it had been draining fast... According to the Prius' energy consumption gauge: 32.8 mpg average fuel economy on his last tank of gas. Oh... and that is city driving... you know, where Toyota boasts 60 mpg.
  12. Where did you hear this? No one else has mentioned this on the site in our numorous discussions we've had in the past.
  13. I have to tell you, the door plastics and other plastics in the car are rock hard... if anyone wants to ever nitpick on plastics... go to the Prius. The interior, well, you can tell they cost-cut in SO many areas. The seat fabric is SO cheap. The plastics are low quality, the sound insulation, well, it's nonexistant.

  15. If the interior is hot, powertrains are nice, car is smooth and quiet, I'll take on in blue too.

  17. Funny thing is, my friend seemed hesitant to tell me what was wrong with the car. He changed the subject. He knows how much I protested him getting this car.His wife on the other hand, well, she covered the baby's ears and started cursing it LOL
  18. Are You Being Served? is awesome! Mr. Humphries rocked!
  19. That was replaced in 1998. I know this because I was with my Sundance, and rather than take that piece of $h! out to Staten Island, dad gave me the Century. I took it and then at 3AM just leaving Brian's house, I was at a red light, and when it turned green, the car never moved. Had it towed to J&M. It was the fuel pump.
  20. So, I'm just going to add this here since I didn't want to start a whole new topic for something so small, but I'll be driving my friends home in my 15 year old Buick so their 1.5 year old Prius can have it's 2nd battery replaced since they got the car. Apparently it's dropping its charge too fast... not retaining any power. The first time the battery was replaced, was less than 6 months after they got the car--they couldn't even open the doors or trunk because the entire car is keyless entry and go--the battery was completely dead... it had to be towed out of their driveway.

  22. I was noticing that too--I think that's great.
  23. Not understanding too much about engines, I can just safely tell you it's a 3.5L V6, pushrod engine, with Variable Valve Timing. It's a 60-degree V6, not related to the 3800 in any way (as that's a 90-degree V6). Now I'll let the people here teach both you, and myself, the other details of the engine
