  1. Happy Birthday!!
  2. +1, all the way.
  3. Cause it seems like this engine will never die. And they plan on stopping production of it this year (well, was supposed to be last year. Well, was supposed to be before that too.) and they will have this iteration of the LaCrosse around until 2009.
  4. It'd make more sense to have the 3.9 in the Lucerne as the base... and run out the 3800s in the LaCrosse since they're going to have leftovers. Would like to see the 3.6L ideally in the Lucerne as a base, and optional on the LaCrosse CXL, but it's not going to happen.
  5. The 3.9 renders the 3.6L useless in the LaCrosse. But I'm all for making it standard.
  6. We got an inch... just a teaser, but boy was it so nice to wake up to it this morning and decorate my Christmas tree. It just made the mood! Now it's all rain, and tomorrow it'll wash away with more rain. I want at least 1 major snowstorm this year... we usually get a million ice storms/sleet storms, etc. Just give me one where the snow is nice, light and fluffy and we're all stuck inside with hot cocoa and a movie
  7. Oh, you're right! We got on the topic of the Civic when we were talking about steering wheels.Gotta say, I dislike this steering wheel as much as I hated the previous generation Impala's.
  8. Only in the Coupe... there is the 4-spoke monstrosity in the sedan. Glad to hear, cause if I wanted an Accord interior that looked like that, I'd have to shell out over $30,000. That's near-lux territory.I'll admit, the interior is growing on me, and I'm finding the exterior less offensive. Problem is, I find the base/near base trims to be boring and I want something a little classier like a trim with wood, some accent lighting, etc. I did some pricing since I'm going for a new car soon, and it's just so expensive to own one. If I wanted an 4-cylinder EX (and I'd love a V6, but who the hell can afford it), I'm hitting $24,000. From what I hear, the Mazda6 and Passat are both tops when it comes to being fun to drive, but I have to say having driven I4 and V6 Accords (albeit not the 2008), they are definitely more fun to drive than any GM product in the "around midsize" game (I know it just jumped up a class).Sigh... what to buy, what to buy? LOL
  9. I love a combo of the two--like Cadillac's have. I'd love a digital readout inside the analog speedometer. But that's just me.
  10. The Torrent is more attractive. :AH-HA_wink: Seriously though... in my opinion, if it had a little more money in its budget, the Aztek could have been much better. It just really needed some tweaks, some refinement inside and out. And, to be a Pontiac, a more powerful engine option.
  11. Wait a sec... will KITT have Sync? If so, will KITT crash just as it's needed to escape peril?
  12. So what's the deal with this? Do we know the specs? Is this the 260hp we see in the Solstice GXP?
  13. I'm with you on the Corvette.
  14. Hope it's not a repost... didn't see it around. Clicky
  15. I like tea better to be honest. You can get a wide variety of flavors, although I usually stick to regular or green tea.
  16. Tea. Coffee in the US is crap. At least the chains that think they know what they're doing. First day of school I tell my students, a cappuccino is not this drink you order in a 50 oz mug that's super sweet, comes with whipped cream on top and caramel drizzled over it.
  17. If "Go" is what the G stands for, then that's just sad. That's probably the worst thing they could have come up with.
  18. I hate to admit it, but I do have foreign-car prejudice when it comes to letting people in... I try to fight it. It more depends on how the person acts... are they being obnoxiously over-aggressive trying to get into my lane and almost hit me? Or are they just gesturing that they'd like to enter? As for people stuck on the roadside... all I look for is a cell phone in hand. If they have a cell, I keep going. But only time I'm on the highways is during rush hour, and we have those trucks that just drive around helping people to keep traffic moving.
  19. Maybe they realize finally it's better to recall now than later.
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. Really? I grew up in Syosset... my parents still live there and I have yet to see any domestic luxury vehicles infiltrate the area... except of course for the Escalade.
  22. I don't think the outside is anything special, and the interior is horrible IMO. For those who say "Who cares about the interior?", well, you use cars to drive--and do you drive from the outside or the inside? A nice interior invites someone in, and makes them feel at home. This is just, well, 1990's.
  23. Very interesting... I turned on my tv this morning and the channel that was on was NBC... the first thing I see was a white Enclave pulling up a driveway. I said to myself, "Oh, it must be an advertisement." What it was, was a real estate agent bringing a client up to a house in Syosset--Syosset is an area on Long Island that is very upscale. Houses with tennis courts, vast pools and property is not uncommon. I just thought it was cool to see the vehicle, since all you ever see in Syosset are Mercedes, Lexus, BMW and very rarely, a Cadillac or Audi. Ah, now I know why (the commercial ended)... they just said, "Open House NYC is brought to you by Buick." :AH-HA_wink: But nonetheless, taking a guy who probably drives a Lexus, Mercedes or BMW, and getting him into an Enclave is a good thing.
  24. Happy Birthday!!
