Attention PA Drivers
We have emissions testing (every 2 years) here in Denver, though I don't think it's uniform across all of Colorado. I have no problem with adopting the California standards on new cars....cleaner air is healthier and a good thing!! (obviously) As far as old cars go, you keep them maintained, it shouldn't be a problem---my '87 Mustang GT passes emissions inspections every 2 years (still has the original catalytic converters)...

That's good to hear the Cobalt is making money..pretty good product from what I've read.

On the Brink
GM's past problems contributed to them getting where they are now...
-
Nissan Altima
So what if they do? How many GM products share windshields (W-bodies?).

I thought the argument that the big 3 have always made about building good compact/subcompact cars in NA is that they can't make a profit on them..

What is the quintessential x0's car?
For this decade, either the Cadillac Escalade..the poster truck for the 'bling' decade....or the Toyota Prius for the environmentally conscious consumer aspect of the times..

On the Brink
About the same here..it's still $2.75-3.00 a gallon here in the Denver metro area....I haven't seen any substantial 'drop' in prices yet. I don't expect to see it under $2.75/gallon anytime here soon.

Toyota Tundra
I see they are taking their styling cues from the Dodge Ram....make it big and make it ugly.

GMC Sierra SLE
And massively obese...biggie sized trucks. The Mega Cab in particular is ridiculously oversized..

GMC Sierra SLE
Looks like 2 power supplies at the bottom of the center stack.
-
Chrysler Sebring sedan
What looks the strangest to me is the rear door shape and the side window trim and C-pillar trim (that little black wedge)...looks like the side window trim belongs on a different greenhouse...

GMC Sierra SLE
That's mega huge looking..strong Ford Super Duty look to the front end..what's a 'Vortec Max'--a new name for the Duramax diesel ?

Ford, GM Launch Joint 6-Speed Automatic
Obviously...a 5-spd manual is standard (as it should be on a compact).

Kentucky-Fried Camry Number 5,000,000 to Roll Out
Potential buyers notice things like that, though... 4 < 5, 4 < 6. Regardless of whether it is reliable, GM's 4-speed is old...4-speed automatics were adequate 10 years ago...

'09 Camaro colors..
Meander Green must be the color I saw..the color chip charts I found on the web called it 2004 'Yellow-Green Metallic' or 2005 'Fine Sublime Green Metallic' but whatever..it's an interesting color.

Kentucky-Fried Camry Number 5,000,000 to Roll Out
But the old 4-spd automatics pull them back down..
-
'09 Camaro colors..
Alpine Green is much darker..nice color, though...the one I like I think is 2004 'Yellow-Green Metallic' or 2005 'Fine Sublime Green Metallic'. Like a bright olive or limish green..

Ford, GM Launch Joint 6-Speed Automatic
74k miles on Grand Cherokee tranny and counting...

Ford, GM Launch Joint 6-Speed Automatic
Well, the '07 Civic DX (base model) is available with a 5-spd automatic...so...why not?

'09 Camaro colors..
This green I'm fascinated by is either 2004 'Yellow-Green Metallic' or 2005 'Fine Sublime Green Metallic'. It would be great for the Camaro, IMHO.
-
'09 Camaro colors..
I also like Sunburst and Bermuda Blue (both '07 Avalanche colors), and Slate Blue Metallic (H3)....or Sharkskin, Sagemist, Dark Garnet Red, Crimson Pearl, White Opal and Ming Blue (all Lucerne colors)... these would all make interesting, distinctive Camaro colors, IMHO..

Spied: Porsche Panamera [updated 10/27]
There isn't...the car pictured at the linked article (blue one) had a lot of camo that made it look lumpy...the pics I posted are Photoshopped, I presume...
-
'09 Camaro colors..
I have no idea what colors the '09 Camaro will be offered in (besides the obvious silver, white, black, bright red), but I saw a color this morning that would be perfect--it's a modern yet retro apple green (don't know the Chevy name of the color) that I saw on a late model Avalanche. Beautiful color, IMHO that looks very much like something from the late '60s-early '70s..I think the Camaro would great in it..

A 76 inch wide car
True enough, but how many people really carry eight very often? I could see a demand in Utah maybe, but in general?

Spied: Porsche Panamera [updated 10/27]
Test mule...hard to say what the production car will look like.. There was a concept illustration a couple years ago that was very sexy...it had fwd opening rear doors, much sleeker, much more 911-ish.. Of course, they could just take the Cayenne and replace the bodywork aft of the rear doors with a conventional C-pillar and trunk.. Probably will look more like this: or this?? Or this...
