  1. Apparently my premium account expired because I can see ads now..the instructions in the first post of this thread apply the old forum software, but the new software doesn't have a 'My Controls'...didn't get a renewal email or anything...how to renew?
  2. For some reason I've started seeing ads recently..
  3. It's so small (subcompact) that there are room for 2 CUVs between it and the full size Enclave...
  4. I went to the Florida park as a kid in '82 and in '88 for a high school graduation event... sure it's changed a lot since then. Never been to the California park, I'm usually going to beaches and/or races when I go to Cali...
  5. Uh, the FWD Impala came 4 years after this..nothing to do w/ the real B-body Impalas. Does this mean you wouldn't like a '60s-70s Impala or Malibu because the name was later used on FWD models? Sounds hypocritical considering the Monte Carlo became a FWD nameplate also..
  6. That is sweet...looks to be in great like-new shape, but with that low a mileage and as old as it is, I wonder what shape the belts, hoses, seals, etc are in...
  7. Interesting...I like how small the front and rear lights are, esp. the rear...the side glass profile reminds me of the 'small' Roller... one detail I don't like is the black area at the bottom of the rear window.. Lots of interesting surfaces.. The current MKZ is the entry-level model, but the article on Autoblog is claiming the wheelbase of the concept is 112... the MKS wheelbase is 112.9. Hard to tell in isolated photos, but it looks bigger than the Fusion.
  8. Chrysler mooted the idea of a 100, didn't they? Would be interesting to see some of the 200/300 design language on a Dart sibling, as a Verano competitor..
  9. I'm not seeing it either...I see the A7 (greenhouse) and current Mondeo (rear)
  10. I could see the next Camaro having this platform and wheelbase, but would it be this small (thought I read this concept was about 175 inches long)...that would be quite a downsizing from the current model's reasonable size.
  11. I like how '70s Pro Stock cars looked like real cars w/ some mods...Pro Stock cars of today look cartoonish, with the huge rear tires and vile hood scoops..
  12. 2015 sounds about right...I suspect Ford will time the release for the NG Mustang for MY 2015 in April 2014 for the 50th anniversary...I've read the next Mustang will be less retro as it is intended to be a global model.
  13. As far as a 6th gen Camaro, any buzz about time lines?
  14. If you happen to catch him again, ask him how flexible the architecture is (wheelbase, width, cowl height, dash-to-axle...). Could be very interesting to hear his response. That's what I'm wondering....can it grow enough for Sigma/Zeta sized cars?
  15. Cool..don't think I've ever seen a class C Travco...the rounded rear reminds me of the class A Travcos...back in the mid '70s, my folks had a Mobile Traveler 22 foot class C based on a '73 Dodge Tradesman van...had a 318 IIRC. After a couple years, they moved up to a 25 foot class A Southwind, powered by a 440. Spent a lot of time growing up on RV vacations...
  16. Red seems to be the signature color for the NAIAS this year..so many debuts and concepts in bright shades of red...
  17. By comparison, the C-class has a 12.4cf trunk, the current 3-series coupe 11cf, new sedan 10cf.
  18. Alpha...same wheelbase as the ATS, I think...I assume the 140 is on Delta II or Gamma? So the 130R could just be a Camaro preview, though I would hope the next generation Camaro doesn't take too much inspiration from the 130R. Maybe...but it seems awfully small to be a Camaro....
  19. Alpha...same wheelbase as the ATS, I think...I assume the 140 is on Delta II or Gamma?
  20. On another site I saw a rumor that Chevy was looking at reviving the Nova name...wonder if the 130R could become a new Nova.
  21. Yes...more coupes wouldn't hurt Chevy at all...they have the 4dr/5dr market covered quite well..more fun is a good thing...
  22. Will be interesting to see how it compares w/ the '13 Malibu, Sonata, Optima, Camry, Accord, Altima, Passat, etc.
  23. Nice to see an upright roofline in an era when so many cars are fastbacks w/ 6 inch long decklids. The proportions (not the detailing) remind me a lot of the 1-series. Build it, call it the Vega or Baretta.
  24. The 140S has a mix of G6 coupe and CTS coupe styling cues...also reminds me of a more angular Eclipse. The 130R is unusual..similar proportions to the 1-series.
  25. The greenhouse reminds me of the A7, the taillight and rear treatment is similar to the current Mondeo..I wonder how it compares to the current fusion dimensionally.
