I had been past the California park many times but never stopped in till I had a kid. I never really had the time anyways as there is so much else to do there. California is my theme park. It is a great place to visit but I would not want to live there. A week or two a year is fine with me. I really need to get back to Hawaii. That is where I really love the beaches. Too bad they closed down Crusier Bob's on Maui. It is a blast riding a mountain bike from the top of a 11,000 foot Volcano to the ocean. I guess someone got killed and spoiled the fun. I about froze my butt off in August as it was only 34 degrees at the top. I usually go to Cali 3-4 times a year....I'm thinking about my vacations this year, have 15 days + holidays w/ my new gig....thinking a few days in Hawaii (Maui or Big Island) around April and Montreal in June for the Canadian GP would be good...

The 130R seems awfully tall and narrow, with a lot of ground clearance..may be the big wheels that emphasize that.. 140 = Eclipse + ELR + Chevy cues..

One last thing...someone on another forum commented that the greenhouse resembles the Neon coupe..hmmm...I see a resemblance in the c-pillar and side window.

140 reminds me of an Eclipse mixed w/ the ELR w/ Chevy styling cues mixed in. The 130 has the proportions of the 1-series, but otherwise looks unique in a strange way..

I like the design overall..one of cleaner mid engined designs..I like the R8 design quite a bit also...not as gaudy as Lamborghinis or over-the-top insane as Paganis.

Uh, the FWD Impala came 4 years after this..nothing to do w/ the real B-body Impalas. Does this mean you wouldn't like a '60s-70s Impala or Malibu because the name was later used on FWD models? Sounds hypocritical considering the Monte Carlo became a FWD nameplate also..

Interesting...I like how small the front and rear lights are, esp. the rear...the side glass profile reminds me of the 'small' Roller... one detail I don't like is the black area at the bottom of the rear window.. Lots of interesting surfaces.. The current MKZ is the entry-level model, but the article on Autoblog is claiming the wheelbase of the concept is 112... the MKS wheelbase is 112.9. Hard to tell in isolated photos, but it looks bigger than the Fusion.
