Most are unbuilt. I’m pretty slow at finishing. I’ve built quite a few over the years, but seem to take forever to finish.

Grand eXtreme? -
It is interesting going back to an area you used to live in or hang out in and see what has changed after a few decades...sometimes very recognizable and familiar, sometimes very different. I've lived in 5 states, and this is my second time in NE Ohio (previously in the area '88-94). Lived in 4 different Ohio towns over the last 50 years.

They could do a GS... Buick hasn't done a GS trim on a CUV have they? -
I originally had my desk facing the window, but now I have my back to the window.. it's a 2nd floor spare bedroom w/ the window up too high to see out of when seated, and sitting facing the wall below the window wasn't too interesting...though I will probably use my living room and work on the sofa often when I don't need to be on a call and don't need the big monitor...

Ya...getting cabin fever being inside in the winter. And starting a new job where every meeting is virtual is really strange. I did work 100% remote at my last job for 3 1/2 years, but I'd worked in the office for 3 years before that. These are strange days...maybe by fall I can meet up with my new team at the office in scenic downtown Cuyahoga Falls (down by Akron, an area I was pretty familiar with 30 years ago).

Haven't customized my background yet, but got my new job tools via Fed Ex on Friday--16 inch Mac Book Pro and 20 inch Dell monitor. May add a 2nd monitor. Set them up in my home office, got the usual tools so far...Slack, Gmail, Zoom...working on installing a bunch of dev tools and learning the company's products...haven't been able to get the wireless keyboard they sent working, so using one of my keyboards for now.

My sister is wondering when she can get it, she's 63...I'm 50, so it will be a while for me I assume. Just started my new job WFH so not going out any more than I was previously.

February finds on the open road (cars you've seen this month)

There is a silver one of those last gen Rivs I see fairly often around here. I really like the profile, rear end, and interior...and the decklid is pretty long for a late 90s car. There is a house a few streets over that has this one, along w/ a last-gen Park Avenue Ultra and an early 90s Regal 2dr. I think they may be a Buick fan... -
I’ve met and dined with A Horse With No Name and trinacriabob. Good guys.

Yeah, it's a special place to me... I haven't lived there in 40 years, but have managed to visit at least once a year and go to some of my favorite restaurants (incl. a great pizza place called Di Carlos) from 2015-2019. Went a couple years ago for a dedication of a plaque at the high school dedicated to my Dad and his name on a brick downtown.

Sunny and 23 here now...looking at the forecast it's going to be cold over the next week with the coldest (nights around zero) on the 12th and 13th. Only a little over 6 weeks until Spring, though...

That they do....maybe the aftermarket make chrome scoops to put over the black C-pillar trim or simulated louvers.

Yep, it was established in 1923 by immigrants from Italy. One of the oldest restaurants in an old Ohio River steel town that had a lot of Italians, Greeks, and other immigrants. My folks lived there for a decade when my Dad was superintendent of the city school district.

Good cold weather comfort food. I'm going to try and make one of my favorites this weekend--meatball heels using Italian bread, meatballs, pasta sauce. It's a specialty of Naples Spaghetti House in Steubenville, Ohio..one my childhood favorites from living in the Ville in the 70s.

I like this track 'Blinding Lights' by The Weeknd. Not that familiar w/ him, but he's going to be on the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday. This song is very catchy, and I like the Merc AMG GT convertible (and there is a '60s Lincoln in one scene..)... red is a prominent color in the video (the bleeding guy opening scene is a bit weird).

Sooner or later, I want a Challenger... F8 green, V8, manual. In all it's chunky glory. Got to get more garage space first, though. -
So he is definitely a Florida Man.

I can see using PSA platforms for the smaller Jeeps that currently use Fiat and Alfa platforms, though. I have no idea where PSA is at as far as BEV development though. Interesting times. I love the Charger, Challenger and 300 as they are now. Love their V8s and heft. Kind of hard to imagine where they go next. -

It would be problematic to try and use any existing PSA platform for a performance Dodge, though—if I’m not mistaken, all their current platforms are FWD transverse engine generics. Nothing of value. -
Looks like Balthy needs a bigger garage with all those vehicles out in the snow...

Got a bit of snow overnight, still coming down intermittently. But we got off pretty mildly compared to areas further east I believe. Neighbors appear to have a GMC Terrain in their driveway that I hadn't noticed before.
