  1. Here are some sweet green '69 Cougar convertible pics...love these also. I'm more familiar w/ the '67-68 Cougar coupes (my folks had two, my brother has one)...but the '69-70s are quite nice also. Though I never understood why Mercury put a Buick-like crease on the sides for '69-70.
  2. Energy/power generation is one sector I don't have experience in, but it sounds like lots of complexity, terminology and technology. The closest I've been was building the public portal for CLECO (Central Louisiana Electric Company) a few years ago...
  3. Saw an unrestored dark green '68 Shelby GT500 KR convertible at a car show in eastern Ohio as a kid in the early 80s, left an impression on me...love dark green performance convertibles..
  4. How about a Yorkie with an SN95 Mustang, and 3 pics of a Black Jade '69 Mustang Boss 429...love that color...
  5. ^ beautiful '70 Mach 1...and in brown...droooooool
  6. ^ love those wooden boats and the Mark III....would love to have an old Chris Craft to take out to the islands in the summer.
  7. ^ Great pic of Shel and a GT40...
  8. It looks like one of these ('70 Fairlane/Torino), but from a bizzaro universe..the windshield shape is way off, and the front fenders and grille are not correct.. maybe Photoshop tweaking...
  9. I dig the Iso Grifo and the Jags...what the heck is that car in the first pic w/ the dog? Looks sort of like a '70-71 Torino, but not quite...weirdly shaped windshield opening and custom grill?
  10. Kachina
  11. I dig the fuselage Mopies...beastly biggies w/ interesting styling details.
  12. Was 5F and sunny when I got up this morning...coldest night since the Polar Vortex 2 years ago. Power stayed on and furnace didn't crap out, so warm and happy...
  13. A '61 Plymouth would have been good for 'Christine'...the front looked like some angry insectoid alien, much more evil looking than the '58 IMO...
  14. Got maybe 6-8 inches fresh snow overnight. More coming today.
  15. Staying warm in my office w/ Beardsley under my desk
  16. Love those Lincoln MKIIIs...same era, love these '70 Mercury Marquis...
  17. Snow has been light so far here in the Cleveland area. My driveway was clear yesterday except for the piles of snow and ice down the middle, still there with new snow down. Supposed to get worse later today.
  18. Always liked the fuselage era Mopies...haven't seen a '69-70 Polara or Monaco in forever..
  19. Yes, Mr Negativity, they are renders. But presumably they are renders of future product...sounds like Alpha Motor Corporation (AMC--heh heh) has investors and a business plan to bring product to market...time will tell if they can realize that vision.
  20. Could be the Renegade's baby brother. I kind of like the look of those Alpha coupes...
  21. Terrier
  22. @ccap41adorable Yorkies. They have such outsized personalities.
  23. Recent pics of the furkids, with their winter long coats. Raine (age 7): She's an Australian Terrier mix, about 14 lbs. Henry (14) and Ginger (12), two adorable Yorkies...10 lbs and 6lbs Raine, Ginger and Beardsley: Beardsley (8), he's some sort of mix, about 12 lbs Beardsley out in the snow: Henry: Henry: Alas, these two passed away in the last couple of years--Zo (14) in Apr 2020, and Penny (14) in July 2019. Both were Yorkies, he was rather large for the breed.
  24. Most are unbuilt. I’m pretty slow at finishing. I’ve built quite a few over the years, but seem to take forever to finish.
