  1. I dig the Iso Grifo and the Jags...what the heck is that car in the first pic w/ the dog? Looks sort of like a '70-71 Torino, but not quite...weirdly shaped windshield opening and custom grill?
  2. Kachina
  3. I dig the fuselage Mopies...beastly biggies w/ interesting styling details.
  4. Was 5F and sunny when I got up this morning...coldest night since the Polar Vortex 2 years ago. Power stayed on and furnace didn't crap out, so warm and happy...
  5. A '61 Plymouth would have been good for 'Christine'...the front looked like some angry insectoid alien, much more evil looking than the '58 IMO...
  6. Got maybe 6-8 inches fresh snow overnight. More coming today.
  7. Staying warm in my office w/ Beardsley under my desk
  8. Love those Lincoln MKIIIs...same era, love these '70 Mercury Marquis...
  9. Snow has been light so far here in the Cleveland area. My driveway was clear yesterday except for the piles of snow and ice down the middle, still there with new snow down. Supposed to get worse later today.
  10. Always liked the fuselage era Mopies...haven't seen a '69-70 Polara or Monaco in forever..
  11. Yes, Mr Negativity, they are renders. But presumably they are renders of future product...sounds like Alpha Motor Corporation (AMC--heh heh) has investors and a business plan to bring product to market...time will tell if they can realize that vision.
  12. Could be the Renegade's baby brother. I kind of like the look of those Alpha coupes...
  13. Terrier
  14. @ccap41adorable Yorkies. They have such outsized personalities.
  15. Recent pics of the furkids, with their winter long coats. Raine (age 7): She's an Australian Terrier mix, about 14 lbs. Henry (14) and Ginger (12), two adorable Yorkies...10 lbs and 6lbs Raine, Ginger and Beardsley: Beardsley (8), he's some sort of mix, about 12 lbs Beardsley out in the snow: Henry: Henry: Alas, these two passed away in the last couple of years--Zo (14) in Apr 2020, and Penny (14) in July 2019. Both were Yorkies, he was rather large for the breed.
  16. Most are unbuilt. I’m pretty slow at finishing. I’ve built quite a few over the years, but seem to take forever to finish.
  17. It is interesting going back to an area you used to live in or hang out in and see what has changed after a few decades...sometimes very recognizable and familiar, sometimes very different. I've lived in 5 states, and this is my second time in NE Ohio (previously in the area '88-94). Lived in 4 different Ohio towns over the last 50 years.
  18. They could do a GS... Buick hasn't done a GS trim on a CUV have they?
  19. I originally had my desk facing the window, but now I have my back to the window.. it's a 2nd floor spare bedroom w/ the window up too high to see out of when seated, and sitting facing the wall below the window wasn't too interesting...though I will probably use my living room and work on the sofa often when I don't need to be on a call and don't need the big monitor...
  20. Ya...getting cabin fever being inside in the winter. And starting a new job where every meeting is virtual is really strange. I did work 100% remote at my last job for 3 1/2 years, but I'd worked in the office for 3 years before that. These are strange days...maybe by fall I can meet up with my new team at the office in scenic downtown Cuyahoga Falls (down by Akron, an area I was pretty familiar with 30 years ago).
  21. Haven't customized my background yet, but got my new job tools via Fed Ex on Friday--16 inch Mac Book Pro and 20 inch Dell monitor. May add a 2nd monitor. Set them up in my home office, got the usual tools so far...Slack, Gmail, Zoom...working on installing a bunch of dev tools and learning the company's products...haven't been able to get the wireless keyboard they sent working, so using one of my keyboards for now.
  22. My sister is wondering when she can get it, she's 63...I'm 50, so it will be a while for me I assume. Just started my new job WFH so not going out any more than I was previously.
  23. There is a silver one of those last gen Rivs I see fairly often around here. I really like the profile, rear end, and interior...and the decklid is pretty long for a late 90s car. There is a house a few streets over that has this one, along w/ a last-gen Park Avenue Ultra and an early 90s Regal 2dr. I think they may be a Buick fan...
