Is it weird that I'd like to have both the Porsche and the wagon for my dream car barn?

I always think of the old Simon and Garfunkel song 'My Little Town' when I think of the small Ohio towns of my youth--'Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town'...so true.

Back in '88 right after high school took a vacation w/ my folks to the Michigan UP, went to the Soo Locks and watched the ships going through...I find them fascinating..

Sweet...I've seen the Anderson a couple of times here in Cleveland... seeing these huge ships come up the river and out on the lake is so cool.

How often do you change your oil?

I can still remember the sound of my diesel Escort...though it only had 52 hp, it had great steering feel for an '80s econobox. -
Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM

A small range. I gravitated to the green, didn’t count the variations. They need a red, brown and a tan of some sort. I love the baseball glove shade of tan Audi, Jeep and others have used in the past. -

I like that Rivian has a range of color choices available for their interiors as far as I can tell...I looked the Mach-e site, and don't see anything other than black and despair gray...boring weak sauce. I'm surprised there hasn't been an Lincoln EV announced..I'm sure Lincoln will have more colorful interiors... -
Speaking of extreme weather, supposed to get our first hit of winter tonight and tomorrow here in NE Ohio. Been raining all day, supposed to change to snow tonight. Predicted 5-12” here in the Cleveland burbs. Maybe I’ll get the snowblower out tomorrow. Maybe get my Jeep out and play in the snow..

Gloomy rainy day....been listening to some Hans Zimmer...

Been a crazy NFL season...the Broncos don't even have a quarterback today (been a Broncos fan since the late 90s). Browns have done better than I thought they would this year. Steelers are great as usual. Ohio--land of orange barrels. The orange barrel is the (un)official state flower of Ohio. Yeah, Michigan has been disappointing for years. Always had a long running sibling rivalry w/ my brother over Michigan vs Ohio State (I went to Michigan in the 90s for grad school, my brother went to Ohio State in the late 60s-early 70s).

Sounds pretty cool...I wonder if they will followup w/ a Trackhawk Hellcat version.

Reality is complex.

Get Carter (great old British crime thriller w/ Michael Caine, watched it recently)

Me too, there is an old car dealership near downtown Phoenix that was converted to a food hall a few years ago w/ several restaurants..very nice. Had to think a bit to remember what the name was---DeSoto Central Market..was a former DeSoto dealer...unfortunately, it's since closed.

The Explorer seems pretty basic for the price point as far as interior features.

'58 was pretty ghastly, IMO. My folks bought one of these new (12 years before I was born). a '58 Monterey 4dr sedan. My Mom nearly ripped off a back door backing out of the garage.. As far as old Mercurys go, I really like the late 60s-early 70s styling.

I love the RS6 Avant...what a beast

I do remember once getting panicky up in the mountains in Colorado when I got low on gas in my '00 GC and I was several miles from the nearest town. Since then, I avoid going below 1/2 a tank when far from home. I remember the first year I had my '00, I went driving once out towards Crested Butte on dirt roads to see some ghost towns....like 50 miles from paved roads w/ no cell signal. I did crazy stuff when I was young.

That is unfortunate to hear...the Aviator is one of the few Ford products I like...I've sat in them at the auto show, and really like the interior and exterior design...
