  1. One import I think is very unique, but I'm sure it's VERY expensive... Mercedes CLS AMG 63. I think that's the name... LOL The long swoopy Mercedes sedan.
  2. First car I thought of when I read this thread stood out like a sore thumb. PLYMOUTH PROWLER!!!!! I would say Plymouth Prowler Chevrolet SSR Ford GT Dodge Magnum Azzzztec... BMW Z4 and it's various little relatives.. PTCruiser/HHR Many imports, some for good reasons, some not so good.... :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Ha! YOU said it.... :AH-HA_wink: LOL Now I know it isn't a BlackViper favorite when I say it, but the Fiero would be on my list for sure. It was a risky effort, but the early Fieros were *whispers* terrible cars! That aside, Fly will be mad at me for a week, but the Aurora is a Northstar engine in a gooey package. As far as rides that won't have people yelling in my ears because I don't like them...? Taken literally..... Porsche 912 and 914. "Volkswagen Porsches". Chrysler Maserati TC. Any Caddy with a 4-6-8 engine. The first Miatas are liked by some, but as far as I'm concerned they fit the description... Aztec is a no brainer, the dustbuster vans not far behind.. As far as "unique-special creative" that nobody seems to want, one car that ASTONISHES me (but I don't feel it's "over-rated" in any way whatsoever) is the Acura NSX. It sure never lived up to what I thought were it's expectations. I think it's an overlooked supercar, nobody seemed to want it, but I have no idea why.
  4. I like the VE Sportswagon! I hope it does well.
  5. I would gladly take a "porky" label if the cars are solid and well built. I think they are something that would sell in good numbers, they are interesting, and not many new cars seem to be as far as I'm concerned. The SportsWagon is cool. Any pictures of the Ute?
  6. Love the Cudas. Great stuff! I've owned quite a few 68 Barracudas, I just sold one awhile back- 340 4 speed. I've only owned one 1970 Barracuda in my travels, buying them nowadays is crazy, the prices have shot up like crazy since the 80's. If your minivan is a Mitsu engine it will most likely be a 2.6, which has a silent shaft. Is your 70 an original 340 car? Did you ever hear a 74 Duster style hood would fit a 1969 Barracuda, as crazy as it sounds...? I've never tried it, but I've been told many a time it was supposedly true!
  7. Didn't miss it at all? I thought I was confirming it was TOWED...??? That's the closest I have heard of them being together on a road too.
  8. Never heard of them before...? I've owned them. My buddy just took one apart last year for the pedals and tunnel for a Malibu wagon of his. He didn't use the tranny, he tossed in a 4 speed. There used to be quite a few of them in the papers for sale, one of my friends owned one 10 years ago too.
  9. Yup, the Camaro's interior isn't good at all IMO. It's borderline terrible. Modern exterior with weirdo designed retro interior? What kind of a matchup is that? Let's toss the 69 dash cluster shape in there.... WHY? Materials used won't matter, it's something that needs addressing if it's gonna be a "plus" as far as sales go.
  10. What year Cudas? That's a thread all in it's own.... :AH-HA_wink: What's wrong with the Caravan? What year/drivetrain? Is it just the waterpump on the Shadow? I am pretty sure they are front passenger side down low, haven't looked for awhile at a 2.2/2.5 but it's where I remember them...
  11. Egads that was horrible. Even the dash had the huge useless slab look to it. I think the production car has modestly improved so far, but it needs more interior design work, it's not a "selling feature" as far as I'm concerned...
  12. The interior in the concept Camaro has always been horrible. There is no getting around it. To be honest I think it's starting to lean towards just being "bad". It's better than the first pics I saw... I wish that GM hired the young kid that made all those Camaro "retro" drawings a few years back, he had some nice looking drawings. I think the production Camaro is gonna be a fairly heavy slab sided car, not what I would have approved if I was in charge...?
  13. LX steering wheel has to go IMO. It might be LX based, but it has to have a musclecar feel. That steering wheel isn't retro, isn't musclecar, and looks out of place. Like reg, at a mensa convention..... :AH-HA_wink:
  14. *sigh*
  15. This post is OK if you rule out the fact that the auction WAS FOR CHARITY. As in tax deductible. As in a Mustang and a Corvette were also sold for silly prices because they were tax deductible auction donations. Take those facts away and this looks like a drunken posting...? LOL Lots of guys have already ordered their 2008 Challengers at MSRP with *ahem* NOOOO markup. I guess it's fun to start rumors, so keep at it!
  16. At least your posts are consistently silly reg. We can all read your opinion knowing whatever you say is consistently WRONG, and base our opinions on that alone! :AH-HA_wink:
  17. I think the production Challenger is a pretty hot looking car myself.... I'm not in the market for a 2 door anything and won't pretend with a "I would rather buy", I'm just gonna say I think it turned out very nice....
  18. I'm pretty sure they towed a Camaro concept past the Challenger press deal. It was on a car hauler. That was as close as they have come from what I know as well...
  19. The side profile is nice. Better wheelwell openings and/or different bolder rim/tire combos would help too.... I don't see why everybody dislikes the rear of the new Malibu so much, to be honest I like the rear better than the front, I'm not a fan of the nose of the car.

    Caliber SRT4 sighted

I like the SRT4 version alot better than the regular Caliber. The exterior changes of the SRT4 make a world of difference. I'm not a big fan of the base Caliber's looks though. Too "Japanese-ish" styling for my tastes.. weird squarish odd angled designers.. :AH-HA_wink:

    Caliber SRT4 sighted

I've driven a regular Caliber, I'm not a big fan of the CVT tranny either. It seems the biggest thing needed to drive the car and like it is to use more gas pedal than most are used to with a regular style of automatic tranny. If you put your foot down firmly it's not bad as far as power goes for the class the car is in. My only complaint with the Caliber is it seems like older imports, you close the door firmly and you KNOW you are in a lightweight car. It's got the feel of "cheapness" to a degree...?
  22. Like I said, read the comments YOU posted... This is the kind of comment I see most... Clean if unremarkable That's a wishy washy comment if I ever heard one..? I'm not sure this is a great quote to use as an insult either.... Kudos for the thought, if not the execution. Another wishy washy The exterior design is nice enough, and the interior is adequate "Adequate" isn't horrendous. Not to me. It's not a leader in it's class, but it's far from what you pretend it is. I think we BOTH know that. The "competition" has the same problems, lack of material quality comments are all over reviews for all brands. Yes, ALL. You need to get over your fixation and LIVE A LITTLE! lol
  23. What does the new battery read with the same meter?
  24. Here, DodgeFan knows this, why don't YOU Ven? LOL!
