  12. The only real difference is the location of the trapezoid.
  13. I could never get into those years... even in Oldsmobile.
  14. Here are your alternatives:
  15. The Fiesta is still a class above the Spark in size. The Sonic is the Fiesta competition. And yes it matters, because if you squished a Fiesta hatchback to Spark size, it wouldn't look as good.
  16. wait... there are interior updates?
  17. I think it is far more expressive and brand specific than just about any other "everyman" brand out there today
  18. You have quite a name for yourself already. I think you'll do fine...... and I think I remember encouraging you to make the jump years ago.
  19. 90%?!? More like 99%... the other 1% are upside down in a snow-filled ditch. I never see ANY thing less than real trucks go off road. Having a dirt driveway is not considered off road... which is as far off-pavement I've seen a Equinox/Terrain so far. the most off road I've ever seen an Equinox is when they make you park on the grass at the park to watch the fireworks.
  20. You know I will. But that seems to lead to nothing but hopes dashed - repeatedly. I do fervently hope that you are right - it would satisfy my own needs quite nicely. However, what about smaller 4cyl RWD? Or even V6 RWD? GM may not have a "One GM" branding like Ford does for a global project, but it is abundantly clear that is what is going on. Holden is not going to be able to maintain their little island of independence much longer. The ATS most likely going to be 4-cylinder RWD in base form, that leaves an option for a Chevy as well in addition to the Camaro.
  21. Well, Ford started their SYNC w/ the cheaper youth-oriented cars first rather than the premium models...Cadillac may have it as an exclusive at first for a year or so, but it will spread..telematics are becoming a very important product differentiator for many consumers. Telematics can be a driver distraction, though. I could see myself trying to read email, Twitter, view latest posts on C&G, Facebook, play Farmville, etc while at stoplights..(I do the 1st 4 on my phone now at stoplights, no Farmville app for Android that I've seen yet). Android has been able to take voice commands to txt, send emails, create calendar entries, look up weather, post to twitter, etc, already. oh yeah, and so can the iPhone now too.
  22. That's what I thought that was...something funny about the steering wheel buttons, though. The wheel on the CUE mock up is not the wheel that they currently use in the SRX. I'm guessing it is the future Cadillac wheel. it's the Cadillac XTS wheel and part of the center stack.
  23. I'd say watch the Holden lineup. It may not all end up at Chevy, but a lot of it will end up here.
  24. Glad to have you back
  25. Stop bitching about mass market cars that pay the bills unless you want to see GM end up in bankruptcy court again. THESE ARE THE CARS THAT MAKE THE EXCITING CARS POSSIBLE. GM is STILL in rebuild mode. We know there is more stuff coming.
