  1. Remember, there was going to almost zero styling differences between the Opel and the Saturn.
  2. Can you still get recall work done for free even if the recall was release years ago?
  3. lol, well, I need an SUV for towing and hauling right now. Old Avalanches just command too much money.
  4. They say when a deal sounds too good to be true, it often is. 2002 Bravada with AWD, 57k miles, leather heated seats, sunroof, CD, $7,995 Opinions?
  5. Well, not all E85 is made from corn.... unfortunately, most of it is due to the corn lobby getting it's pitchforks into energy legislation. E85 derived from algae or kelp is much more green than E85 from corn.
  6. The appropriate response to "I need the lyrics so I can sing" is not "you need more than lyrics dear"
  7. E85 is better suited to turbocharged engines of small displacement and high compression. The e85 vehicles out there are just a compromise right now.
  8. I don't think Camaro SS v. Fusion hybrid is a valid comparison. I think the hybrid should be seriously considered by anyone who is looking at a fairly well equipped V6 Fusion/Milan/Accord/Camry. You get almost V6 performance (lets be real here, this thing runs with most of the standard V6es from just 5 years ago), but get 41mpg city and 35mpg highway. Outside of the powertrain, it's just a family 4-door with leather, headed seats, NAV, sunroof, rear park camera/assist. If you just want good power (better than a standard 4-cylinder) but you don't care if you have the most power in the segment (no 280hp Nissan VQ here) and want good fuel economy.... then I highly recommend the Fusion Hybrid.
  9. Most advertising is cheezy.... .but that line is GREAT
  10. you don't know who you're missing...
  11. thick
  12. We miss everyone with 2 possible exceptions.....
  13. I just can't imagine taking on that kind of debt on that kind of income.
  14. No, my partner is not a moderator.
  15. Is Vancouver a bubble city? Housing prices like that simply cannot be sustainable unless there is a huge income bump for living there.
  16. The bigger story here is that Toyota is being rejected even as a fleet queen.
  17. ....like air. It's only important if you're not getting any. ....is like cold pizza. Even if it's bad... it's still pretty good.
  18. To be fair to C&G, we have a much more engaged moderating team these days.
  19. Would have to have a username on C&G and another username on C&G Wiki be a dealbreaker? <could be the same name, but you'd need to sign in twice.>
  20. Or at least the full two years Rodger seems to keep cars....
  21. My guess is they're asking $250k and hoping that someone will offer $220k.
  22. Wexford, Cranberry, Upper St. Clair, Robbinson Twp., Monroeville *slightly older*, $300k will get you a new, large, McMansion in Pittsburgh... just as a point of reference. That townhouse seller is dreaming asking $250k. Myself, I prefer older homes. My own house was built in 1939
  23. Oh geez, I'd need a photo example.... Adams township isn't bad. You can also look at almost anything with the suffix "Hills" For example, we live in Forest Hills. Albert's parents live in Penn Hills.

    Wiki?

For some time now we've wanted to add a Wiki feature to C&G to capture the wealth of automotive knowledge we have floating around C&G. We have been waiting patiently for the developer of the IPBWiki software to complete the coding so that we can link your C&G log in to the C&G Wiki.... thus no need for multiple sign on IDs. It has become clear to me that the IPBWiki software isn't going to be completed anytime soon, and even if it were, the support looks like it will be nearly non-existent. I've been trying to find ways of moving forward without IPBWiki... what I keep coming back to is just using the MediaWiki software (this is the software that Wikipedia.com uses) and just have to deal with duplicate signons. Would this be objectionable to those of you who would use it most? Please share your thoughts.
  25. lol. I'm working on a project for reporting sales numbers and I notice we were missing the 2007 numbers for Chrysler
