  1. you would have seen a huge amount of blood.
  2. Yes please.
  3. No, we're going to limp the car back home to Pittsburgh this morning. It's quite drivable.
  4. Is that why so many people drive Camrys?
  5. Actually the CTS handled splendidly... and you don't get brake fade from one single 1 second brake application. It was the pothole that did the damage.
  6. Crossing from PA into NJ on Route 1 today. Old man in a beige Camry merges into the right hand lane. Only problem is, there is an old Volvo 240DL wagon there with me in the left hand lane. The Volvo tried to merge into my lane, squishing me into the jersey barrier. We of course slam on the brakes, swerve as much as we can and avoid the accident, but we hit a major pot hole. Alignment is out of wack, the under engine cover is torn off and there are squeaks from the sunroof and passenger door now. Going to the dealership this week.
  7. Not anymore. Delta <the Cobalt/Ion/G5> is profitable now. W-body is so old it almost *has* to be profitable now, the major costs were amortized out in the 90s I bet. The Epsilon is likely to be profitable. G-body <DTS/Lucerne> is selling fairly ok and using mostly off the shelf technology. if anyone is a one hit wonder these days, it's Chrysler.
  8. Escalade is at least a two hit wonder. No real competition from Acura, Audi, Infiniti. No one has done the Escalade better. The next gen CTS isn't out yet, but from the looks of things, that'll be at least a two hit wonder. It looks as if it will address all the "issues" that the current CTS has. They've fixed the SRX. It now truely is world class and can easily sit with the likes of MB, Acura, and Audi. The STS fix is coming. You've seen the pics I'm sure. It already has the platform, now it's getting the interior. Audi, Benz and even BMW should be worried. One hit wonder what?!
  9. Dual zone is a red herring, it doesn't really vary the temperatures that much.
  10. More COTY winners: Was there really nothing better in 1972? And last, but certainly not least.... remember, if you're driving one of these, you're a winner.
  11. Here was it's competition. Out of this group, the Camry did deserve to win. The only cars that stood a chance were the Aura and Altima.
  12. not likely, at today's price, he'll be taking a loss of about 2.50 a share...
  13. Aura
  14. I bet you would if it had an "H" on the grill </sarcasm>
  15. fixed.
  16. Woah! It's got the shape, now it just needs the hardware... that could be 7-series competitive with that shape.....
  17. I wondered why the stock was tanking these past two days....
  18. and people wonder why cars are so expensive these days.
  19. I wouldn't do the Buick, just the Saturn and Chevy. Saturn is moving upmarket and fast, it is easily going to take over Oldsmobile's space in a few years. Oldsmobile is more of a family/people's car than Buick is. Chrysler, the biggest minivan seller gets by with just Dodge and Chrysler. There is no way that GM, one of the lowest minivan sellers needs more than that. Chevy Biscayne = Dodge Caravan/Chrysler Voyager Saturn Relay = Chrysler Town & country
  20. The 98 Malibu is a completely different car and platform than the current model. They are similar in name only.
  21. I don't know what you're talking about man. Mom had a Bonneville for years. It's what I took my driver's test in. Plenty of legroom back there.
  22. eh, that's your next gen 300c right there folks.
  23. I don't get it.
  24. Not seeing what you're seeing Bimmer: Aura: Malibu:
