  1. Ah yes... a pavement ripping 200 ft/lbs. Even the 3.5 has 220 something. The 3.9 has 235. To put this in perspective, the Sebring convertible has 190 ft/lbs. The standard Jetta 2.0t weighs 100 lbs. less then a Sebring convertible. I would think the Eos's weight will be higher then a Jetta. You're going to need each and every one of those 200 ft/lbs running through each of those 6 gears to get the Eos to hustle.
  2. "But the G6 has teh pushRods! Pushrods ARE teh SUXORS!!!!11!!2!"
  3. saw an older, white haired, black lady driving a new Thunderbird..... with spinners that could puree small rodents while she drove. a few miles away was a black Escalade <2nd gen> with spinners and.... a continental kit.... with a spinner on that too.
  4. SINO Saturn In Name Only
  5. is it just me or do the FWD proportions look especially ungainly on this one...
  6. Well... to completely gross everyone out.... he's also lactose intolerent... so feed him some milk and you could hook up a turbo charger if you wanted......
  7. I was refering to the '66 Electra. I get 18/27 out of my CTS and 14/22 out of the Avalanche.
  8. Uh... now show a pic with the top down.... see that little space in the bottom center? Yeah, that's all you get. Chas and I watched them demonstrate the top mechanism of the EOS at NAIAS. Being the VW lover he is, he instantly wanted one. I told him we're not getting anything like that from VW without the extended warrenty.
  9. oh I already sleep much better... thanks.
  10. The doctor was amazed chas was even functional at his level of apnea.
  11. Chas was around 25 times an hour and his blood oxygen level would drop to 50%. He had surgery on his throat in November <when I almost lost him> to correct the problem but it only provided marginal benefit. It must be the genetics in his family because all of his sibling <5> and father snoore very badly. Most of the time the snoring is caused by weight... but Chas is 5'7" and 135lbs.
  12. Well that.... and that he was getting super tired and taking naps around 4pm everyday.
  13. This will be a huge boost to Mexicos tourism economy. This is something we should do here as well... even though I am personally anti-drug.
  14. CPAP, it's a breathing device for him to use at night to releave sleep apnea. It forces air through his nostrils. In his case at about 9 cm of pressure.
  15. He has to sleep hooked up to one of these every night now... I was complaining about being stuffed up from allergies at dinner last night and he called me a hypocondriac... I replied that not everyone has forced-induction. He nearly spit his water out at me.
  16. After I took the CTS out of storage, I said "I've missed you old girl."
  17. Of course you'd rather buy an IS over a Buick if you're looking for a fun to drive car... your compairing apples to oranges. Would you rather buy an ES over a Lucerne though.... that would be a much harder decision to make.
  18. That was probably all they could fit in that nose since it was OHC and all.... had they used an engine with pushrods.... wait... what's that noise? <14 black foreign luxury sedans pull up and fire machine guns into Oldsmoboi's house>
  19. Some of us aren't quite as insane as you. Here's another RWD, BOF, Pushrod, manual transmission for you. Link
  20. Oddly, Pontiac just sent me an e-mail today saying that the G6 Convertible was now available.
  21. "Because it bases at 27k"
  22. 15 city/18highway..... if you're gentle.
  23. Loaded is fine....it's the fuel efficiency I'm more concerned about. I'm a year and a half away from replacing the CTS <leased> anyway. I'd like to stay with GM. Other then a short stint with a Lincoln, I've always driven GM.
  24. I'm proud to be Sentra-Free.
  25. LOL... um.... as I've said before.... size matters :AH-HA_wink:
