  1. Ocn, you sound like you're fairly butch. I would have responded "No, I'm the gay one." When they all look at you wonderingly... just say... "What...as if you didn't know..." This does two things. Admits that you're gay, and puts them on the defensive because they suddenly feel dumb because now it seems that it is A. something they should have already known. B. something that apparently everyone else already knows. C. Something you are obviously comfortable with them knowing. It's a very easy way to diffuse someone like that.
  2. Ocn, she knows.... all moms know.
  3. You're still not out to your mom?
  4. Toyota isn't sucessful becauseit has less brands, it's sucessful in spite of having less brands. GM's brands <including Olds>, managed properly, would be very sucessful. The difference is this. For the 300k Camrys Toyota sells, 10 people are actually excited to be purchasing one. For the 50k Grand Prixs that Pontiac sells retail, 30k of them are actually excited to be buying one. People buy Toyotas the way they buy refridgerators.... reliable, efficient, unobtrusive. People buy Pontiacs the way they pick out a wife.... fun, great to be around, and dances well. Right now, the perception is you can't be fun and reliable/high quaility at the same time.
  5. I can't wait for someone to criticize the CTS or STS overhangs.. :-)
  6. I wonder if some of those may be hybrids. Remeber the RX400.....
  7. The one I was amused by most recently was a 'low' listed in Cheers and Gears. "It's still a Trailblazer"
  8. A customized Roadmaster wagon. I see them come across e-Bay from time to time.
  9. It's pretty much everything but Solctice, V-series, and Cobalt <dunno why>.
  10. Outside is no improvement. Interior is up a notch, but really, give it up with the shifter. It's a mini-van. Just make it push button at this point.

  12. Boo on the dividend cut. Less incentive for me to buy the stock now.
  13. what they do spend, they need to spend in better ways. They really need to get new AD guys.
  14. My CTS has poor rearword visibility. The good thing about the car though is that because it's so square, it's easy to judge where it ends.
  15. The man is lookin ok for being 117 years old. He doesn't look a day over 101.
  16. Wasn't the first Dodge branded <though mitusbishi built> mid-sized SUV the Raider? or would have have been considered a compact?
  17. British, Cartman, Mr. Mackey, Pittsburgh <I'm not a native>, southern
  18. frivilous suit. It's not like earbud headsets are new or exclusive to the iPod.
  19. I reset AVG MPG, AVG MPH, Trip A, Trip B, every time I fill up. They are for your information only, so you can reset them whenever you'd like.
  20. I've read that study before and it's flawed. It assumes that the ONLY thing that would happen would be switching the use of the corn from food to ethenol/biodiesel. Then counts petrolium costs of producing the corn against the fuel output of the corn. What it fails to account for is the USE of the ethenol/biodiesel after it's produced. Wouldn't people actually USE it? The farmers would/could use the E85 in their farm equipement, the truckers could use biodiesel in their trucks.
  21. Does the money stay in this country? Does the money no longer fund terrorist supporting countries? Does the money no longer fund countries that oppress human rights? Sometimes paying extra is worth it.
  22. Make them all capable... low tech or high tech. If I could run E85 through my CTS I would. And ya know what... screw the subsidy. I much rather have a Kansas farmer get rich off me then Prince Ali-baba.
  23. Bridgestone Blizzaks = one of the best snow tires out there.
