It doesn't seem like "The Best or Nothing" either... GLS and all below it come with Pleather seats standard.

I love it! "It's so retro!"

That's less than I paid for my Encore lease. I get the Honda back from the body shop today (had a bad hinge replaced) and then it's getting cleaned up and going on Craigslist and Auto Trader.

Drugs are bad m'kay? I have no recollection of posting that. I was looking at the thread because the price interested me. I don't think I even used that phrase this morning to anyone.

I can put that one to bed right now. We have multiple autonomous vehicle companies working here in Pittsburgh. Both Uber and Argo AI have R&D centers here, Google is up to something here with AD, and Carnegie Mellon University was one of the first to get a fully autonomous system functioning. I've ridden with one of the Argo engineers. This picture of an Argo AI Ford Fusion was not taken by me... but it could have been. It is the intersection where my office in downtown is. There is a reason they use exclusively Fusion Hybrids and Volvo XC90 Hybrids... it's not for fuel efficiency. Plug-In Hybrids are the only vehicles with enough electrical reserve to run all of the electronics required for fully autonomous driving. That's why GM went with a self-driving Bolt and not a self-driving Cruze. The autonomous developers want bigger capacity batteries just as much as everyone else.

An absolutely Immaculate first generation Dodge Dynasty. Very likely with the original owner behind the wheel. Grandpa was making *ahem* excellent time! It did not have a V6 badge on it so that means it was the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder and a Chrysler 3-speed automatic praying the rosary at that speed over the mountains outside Altoona. I also found a mostly intact white '84/'85 Toronado in a scrapyard with the same color interior as mine but full leather... AND the leather is near perfect! I will be placing phone calls tomorrow. There are a bunch of parts I'd like to snatch. I'll have some pics from that scrap yard to post later, some shots that might interest @balthazar

It's not fast, but it's not Encore slow either. With the 9 speed auto it will be okay for the target audience. -

Size? weight? difference for difference sake? GM product planners don't talk to each other? Makes no sense to me either. The 2.5 is not a great choice for this vehicle or the Acadia. -

Na, they'd have to use TrailBlazer. Just like they need to use Electra for any electric Buick. -
What do you have against diesel style low end torque?

No, the 2.5 is not the mild hybrid version. It's the basic 2.5 from the Acadia. I like that RS and Premier get the advanced AWD with Twin Clutch. That means they could, should they want to, build a TrailBlazer (Think Colorado TrailBoss) version credibly. After sleeping on it. I do think I really like it. -
All of the GMs and the RAM could move production to the US. The cheap ones will probably just get cancelled. The ct6 plug in could be built here, they just sell most of them in China.

Well there you go @regfootball , the sporty GM crossover you were asking for. Me? I kinda like it, and I’m just glad there is the 3.6 liter instead of the 2.0T from the Traverse. Good tie in to Camaro too, I wonder if there is actually any parts sharing there or just in appearance. -
We don't pay tariffs to other countries for items exported from the US. The customers in those countries pay the tariff. We pay very few tariffs in this country and the ones we do pay are quite low unless you're trying to buy a truck from Germany...

Volvo News: 2019 Volvo S60: A Swede with An American Accent
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Volvo
The C70 had a diesel in EU. But yes, I'm sure somewhere in history there was a Volvo without a diesel engine. Perhaps its the first Volvo without a diesel since Chinese ownership? Something I've had to learn at work recently. Don't assume malicious intent. -

Updated.... but again, the off-road options on the Overland are optional Top-O-The-Line is the Summit that has all of everything and can top out at $63k with a diesel. The Trackhawks and SRTs are above that, but they're not really offroaders like the Trailhawk, Summit, and Overland are.

Lexus News: The Uncertain Future of the Lexus GS and IS
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Lexus
The 2.7T with electrification would be more than enough to move an Escalade around. A 3.0TT in an escalade would be too much in a country where gas is already over $4 a gallon. I got 27mpg out of it in a CT6, but an Escalade couldn't count on that. -
LOL you're nutz! I don't think there is anything a Trailhawk can do that an appropriately equipped Overland cannot.

This looks fantastic! Just visually, I would probably pick this over any of the competition. -
Overland package is more $$$. That's the reason I started looking at this. I get the off-road suspension and 4x4, plus the tow package, plus heated and cooled seats (albert's request), for less money than the same config in an overland.

The Renegade Trailhawk is actually surprisingly capable. I think the issue people have with the JGC Trailhawk is that it is no more capable than an Overland with the active suspension and the upper level 4x4 system (which both come standard on Trailhawk) This one I have pictured is $32k and 17k miles for a '17
