  1. VW's in general or the Phaeton in particular? The Phaeton makes other VWs look like Corollas on the reliability chart.
  2. Live in a blue state or Texas.
  3. Is there some update to the LX cars I'm not aware of?
  4. In states where it is available, you should shop around for better energy rates.
  5. It wasn't overpriced for the equipment you got. It was overpriced for the brand. That said, I would love to own one if they weren't such gremlin riddled cars.
  6. The problem is that they muddled their name lineup. The S60 came down market and down in size into S40 territory and they canceled the S40. The S80 did the same thing. They need a new S40 that can run with the A4 and C-Class and the S60 needs to go back up to CTS/A6/E-Class size. Starting with the XC90 is the wrong move for this strategy. Do what Cadillac is doing, make the entry car so good that even the Audi/BMW humpers will have to grit their teeth and admit it is a real challenger, then move up the rest of the line.
  7. We've had Jellybeans since the 96 Wbodies and the fish Taurus.. I don't people are still holding on to their 87 olds cutlass supreme and not buying new just because of styling.
  8. the SUVs aren't in production yet. This will only be cars already rolling down the product line.
  9. You have to look at your kwh usage rather than your dollar spend. If your kwh went down the sticking with incandescent would have cost you even more. My cfls seem to last forever, there are some in my house that have been installed for over 7 years, they haven't been changed since before Albert and I got together.
  10. I am far more excited for a 3-series competitor. If they keep it at the level of style the rest of the Jaguar sedans are, I could really see myself in one.
  11. Buick needs to market the Turbo Verano a lot more. It is a fantastic little luxury compact
  12. Over the course of the next 3 weeks I will be attending a few Media Drives. I cannot possibly drive and review every vehicle offered at these events and unfortunately, I will not know which vehicles will be available for drives until I actually get to the event (with the exception of Buick, I happen to know that their entire lineup will be available). At these drives, all but the most exotic brands will be there. (Though Rolls and Bentley have attended in the past.) Please list the most important recent releases that you feel we should focus on if they are available for a drive that have not yet visited C&G for a review. Once we have a list, we will pick the top 15 or so in order of importance.
  13. It's ...just.. too much nose for not enough cab.
  14. Nice! I look forward to the pics!
  15. I ended up buying a Samsung NX300 mirrorless system for $700. Pretty happy with it so far.
  16. X4-Series Grand Coupe GT X-Drive ..... and its fuel injected.
  17. That's just part of our charm. But we've been really fast lately, no? It's always fast for me now. Btw, the latest issue was 75% my fault. I can't blame server issues or our provider this time.
  18. It's the platform GM is stuck with for now.
  19. What happens if you're Sans Juan?
  20. and a final years Buick Grand National rotting on the street in inner city Trenton.
  21. 4 Teslas in one day driving around NJ.
  22. I am *still* using this laptop. I upgraded the drive to an SSD and put 8 gig of ram in it. It's no gaming rig, but it's light, rugged, and still has great battery life. I want a new machine, but can't justify replacing this one.
