  1. ATS coupe is already in the cards for production. I don't think we'd see it any sooner than April in NY, but next November at LA is more likely.
  2. No concepts... stick with stuff heading towards production.
  3. I'm all for taking money from fools if there are enough of them, but you'd have to prove that case. I seriously doubt that you can, especially as applied to Corvette. If built, these would languish on lots, hurt the image, and reduce resale value. Just a really bad idea all around. The assertion that this is what the market wants is more than suspect. How can you know any of that without knowing what the performance of the V6 Turbo will even be?
  4. No, it doesn't. Because like it or not, there are people out there who like complexity and do not see it as a vice.
  5. Corvette needs to go after anyone who has the cash.
  6. taking its sweet time...
  7. Didn't the Corvette start off as a 6-cylinder? Aren't you the one always talking about more variety? Aren't you the one always talking about the high price of cars these days? Wouldn't a new lower cost Turbo-V6 base model Corvette be a way to bring in a younger set of buyers?
  8. Sweet! I hope you upload some pics!
  9. Why not? People buy V6 GTRs and flat-6 Porsches all the time.
  10. The only thing he might miss is the ability to put the spurs into it at highway speeds. The Passat is a big comfy package. If they ever make a larger TDI engine for it, that would really address my only complaint. They could put the Audi 3.0 TDI in, but I suspect Audi wouldn't like that. So make a 2.8 TDI version to use in the Veedubs.
  11. What we know so far. Releases: Corvette Sierra/Silverado BMW X4 Infiniti G Lexus IS Cadillac ELR Lincoln MKC Toyota Furia Concept Honda Fit-based crossover
  12. Staggered body style release, just like every other lux make out there and the CTS before it.
  13. 4-cylinder Mustang is coming. The Tib and FR-S are both 4 cylinder. 3 series is 4 cylinder.
  14. The 2.5 doesn't have the grunt at 1600 rpm that the 1.6 does. Muscle car buyers won't be opting for either 4-cylinder, so it doesn't matter to them which 4-cylinder it has.
  15. no updates?
  16. Well, park both of them in my garage and I'll let them fight it out amongst themselves.
  17. the 1.6T has the grunt where the 2.5 doesn't.
  18. He has all the tool he can handle at home.
  19. ... and Cadillac will be right there with a competitor possibly before BMW enters the market.
  20. The silliness of this holiday. Why should I have to guess what Albert wants?
