  1. Tundra and Titian? edit: GAH! The Ford! It Burns!
  2. Close. When the imports first started coming here, they would list their engine in Cubic Centimeters or CC.
  3. Star Chief specifically
  4. There is a guy on the C&G Facebook page asking what kind of car that Blue and White one is. I know what it is, but I'm hoping that one of you guys will go on there and help him out.
  5. It will be interesting to see these two go after each other and mostly ignore what the rest of the world is doing. Even the Quandts look like they're going to get left out. edit: and no, the X1 won't be the entry from BMW that puts them in the running....
  6. ... isn't there always about a delay between the trucks and the SUVs?
  7. Anything they are known for reliability wise?
  8. those don't look unsaleable at all!
  9. yeah, 6.0 was the only engine for the EXT in that body.
  10. My only subscription is the digital version of Automobile Magazine because a friend works there. I have a few Honda Car and Driver around, but I have no great affection for them.
  11. Picture of their condition?
  12. Well no... they had the X-Type *snicker snort*
  13. swap meets?
  14. I like the new XVs. I drove one back in September and even got the chance to take it off road. I got myself in a bit of a pickle and ended up on the wrong off-road course designed especially for the Land Rovers. But being little and maneuverable, I was able to go around the obstacles I was supposed to be climbing over. Yesterday at Costco: Today in downtown Pittsburgh:
  15. there was no 6.0 in the Avalanche, just the 5.3 or 8.1. but yea, a 2500 popped up on the radar.
  16. Again, incorrect. We have documentation of the bad stuff happening.
  17. Unless there were different Canadian specs, in 2001, the engine choices were 2.2 with 115hp or 2.4 with 150hp.
  18. Sounds like you're going through all of the stuff on your Buick that I've hit on the Honda at less than 90,000 miles.
  19. beside the "hide your wallet when passing gas stations" part....
  20. No interest in this?
  21. "Its either on or really on."
  22. My book lists the 350 as standard with 170hp, 455 optional with 190hp, and the 400 with 170hp on Sedans and coupes only. 98 and Custom Cruiser also had an optional 400 but with the 4v carb and 185 hp. 455 with 190hp was standard.
  23. I don't like the current interior much at all, very dated. From that picture I see "Buick Lucurne" parts bin. That said, the Silverado is growing on me by leaps and bounds. Seeing it moving in the videos really shows off the detail and the full amount of it. I noticed a brand new F-150 while I was out and about today.. .and it will look very plain and dumpy next to the 2014 Silvy.
  24. With numbers like 197/191... and the specs of the 3800 SIII in the LaX being 200/230... that's not really so darn close. Props to GM for recognizing the problem and actually doing something about it quickly. Hopefully they will seriously address the areas of concern. Next gen though must go on a diet. Can't play the mpg game with the big boys until you drop the pounds. this.
  25. I don't think, the exteriors and interiors are not bad, but nothing special either. Remember this will be on sale for 8 years probably, if we aren't really impressed now, imagine how dated this package will look in 2020. The engines will be lame, just wait and see. We already know the LT1 has about 5% more hp and torque than the outgoing LS3. Even a 50% gain in horsepower to the 4.3 liter leaves them behind Ford and Ram. the only thing the same about the 4.3 is the displacement, it is otherwise all new. It is supposed to have over 300 horsepower and better torque than the competition's V6es. It isn't going to out-do the Ecoboost V6, but it isn't meant to either. that's what the 5.3 is for.
