Have you seen any hybrids on any dealer lots? Probably not, because they sell about as soon as they're unloaded, if they aren't pre-sold, so the market is obviously there for hybrids, domestic automakers aren't able to make as many of them as Toyota.

I've got a Blackjack on AT&T. I like AT&T because 3G is really freaking fast. My bill fluctuates wildly depending on how much time I spend surfing the web with m phone. I wanted an iPhone for the longest time, but gave up after falling in love with my Blackjack. When the time comes for a new phone, it will be a Blackjack II or III, depending on when the III hits the States. I'm not going to switch anytime soon.

Deadlines are approaching for the November election, I encourage everyone to visit the Election Assistance Commission's website to see when your deadline is and to download the National Mail Voter Registration Form (.pdf) because if you dont vote, you cant bitch.

Palin's favorability ratings have taken a 21 point nose-dive over the last week. Either the poll included a smaller number of conservatives or people are starting to see the forest for the trees that she's going to cut down to drill for oil, then charge the trees for the cost of their removal.

I haven't read it all yet (eating right now) but from the first paragraph, it seems a lot more mature and better laid out than: "Thinking people will vote for McCain" "NOBAMA" and "He's a liberal" as the reasons anyone should vote for McCain.

One thing I've noticed, nobody has really given a good reason to vote for McCain, they're just spouting some bs about why to vote against Obama. Remember 2004? Kerry tried running as "not George Bush" and it didn't work, does anyone think that McCain running as the "not Barack Obama" candidate will work?

I saw a poll over the summer that put Obama ahead significantly among voters 65+ most of whom cited McCain's age as a factor. I'll have to see if I can find that one, because if anyone knows how ill-prepared a 72 year old is to handle the pressure of the presidency, its a 72 year old who cant get off the couch, pee, and get back before the commercial break ends and The Price is Right is back on.
