  1. Dont laugh, one of these sold for $7000+ last year after gas shot up.
  2. Linkypoo .
  3. That all you got? I saw a police Segway the other day. Not just one of those mall security ones, but an actual police department Segway with an armed officer on board. But I dont think it has a siren.

The stock tires probably aren't rated past 130mph, and the last thing Audi needs is to be sued by the family of the guy dumb enough to go 170 on the all-season tires supplied by the lowest bidder.
  7. Just say you cant work Monday because its a religious holiday.
  8. No vin, just says its a '93 LT1 with the 350 trans and it has 80k. I haven't done much else to the wagon, replaced the window motora and put in the new engine. I still need new tires, a new stereo, replace the headliiner and windshield and do half a dozen other little things to make it just right.
  9. The color combo is what sold me. The day before I bought the Solara, I found another one, a 4cyl red over charcoal that was about a grand cheaper, but the darker interior killed it.
  10. Red over Ivory coupe, SE V6. I rolled it down a hill, whoops. I did a little searching for another, but the only SE V6 I found was that ugly dark green color and had hideous AR wheels. I didn't want leather and couldn't find a decently priced convertible.
  11. Wow, was it in one piece.
  12. Loved the Solara, it was a far better car than people give it credit for. It handled well and had zip, all while having an interior that I could live with spending time in, something GM had a problem with between 1975 and 2005.
  13. First one, then the other. Although speaking of hard love, after I cleared out the back of the Buick, someone asked me if I had thought about renting it out to hookers.
  14. The Challenger is way too big, in person its massive, thats just not my style. If I get something that big, its going to have 4 doors and a tailgate.
  15. According to Wikipedia, it didn't get it until '94, so some part of the ad is wrong.
  16. So I've got the Buick with its rebuilt 307 running beautifully, happy to have it back on the road. Now there is a '93 Caprice wagon with an LT1 on Craigslist for $600. No title, being sold as a parts car. I may go ahead and call the guy, but I'm thinking the LT1 transplant is more work than I want to do at the time.
  17. Will the fuel tanks still fall out?
  18. I've seen several new Mustangs this week. Still the same 3 Camaros. Honestly, I like the Mustang better, it looks smaller and more athletic.
  19. Its going to get some hard love tomorrow, no need for the Buick.
  20. I'm pretty sure the every three year thing has been out of style for a while now, at least for the majority.
  21. Actually, I've got the LeSabre, she's got the Prius and the Cooper sits in the garage, unloved.
  22. I dont think I could have gotten my fiancee to get into a G3 anyways, not after her last Pontiac burst into flames.

    my fat ass

The daytime driver at Papa John's and I know each other pretty well, so he gets like an $8 tip to drive 2 miles. Everyone else usually gets $4-5, since the order is usually $20-25 that seems reasonable.
  24. And there are enough studies out there confirming imports are reliable vehicles as well. My point is that you make a lot of asinine assumptions and throw a ton of faulty logic out there to diminish imports.
  25. I'm pretty sure it was tan.
