There's also codes for ATS coupe and ATS convertible; hope the 2 are still on. Interesting that the full-size cadillac is listed as Fleetwood: personally, I'd like to see the car lineup flagship have a real name (as the Escalade - the truck flagship - has a real name instead of the 3-letter naming)

Cruze and sonic with one look; Malibu and Impala with another? It would be odd as it would mean that there would be no single visual identity in the Chevrolet brand, but who knows?...

The car presented is the top-end Commodore trim, the CalaisV. They haven't shown neither the base models (Omega and Berlina) nor the performance ones (SV6 and SS). I think that when the performance Commodores are unveiled we'll see exactly how the NA-bound Chevrolet SS looks like. And with the SS likely getting the LT1 (or somethig closely related to the LT1), no need for perfomance or body kits, me thinks. The SS will be more than a competent player

Cadillac News: Cadillac's Global Vice President Reveals Some New Products
ZL-1 replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
ATS coupe = Cheers! 2014 CTS rear-end spy picture = Jeers! (though with the pic being so low-res opinion might change) -
Here's the new Commodore, with a side of Chevy SS...

Not just you; but since GM has already stated the VF will go to Chevrolet, and also the fact that this as a Buick would step on Cadillac's toes... Not going to happen: you in the US will get a version of the SS or SS-V and that's it. -
Nice; I like it!

Yep. Unfortunately and judging from Jalopnik's pic of the 2014 CTS rear-end, GM missed out on the opportunity to do the same with the NG CTS...

maximizing (which begs the question: maximize earnings or personal satisfaction when job satisfaction goes away?)

Chicago Auto Show: 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel: Comments
ZL-1 replied to William Maley's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
Nice! 42mpg might be a prudent rating... In flat areas fo the US landscape it will easily surpass that. Oh, BTW - OFF TOPIC, but of interest: Jalopnik has what they claim are phots of the NG CTS -
BMW Introduces The 2014 3-Series Gran Turismo: Comments
ZL-1 replied to William Maley's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
Seems like a 3-Series sized car makes for a better looking liftback than the 5-Series GT... Still, not an attractive car IMHO... -
Maybe they want to position the XTS longer-term as Cadillac's volume sedan..i.e. it's Lexus ES equivalent... If that's the case, what's Buick role then? :/

Could make sense for the fleet business in the US... Don't think it would make any sense to just convert a Cadillac into an Opel though...
-
It sure looks nice in red and with the 18" wheels! I think the diesel 4X4 could be an interesting choice... Still haven't seen one here in Lisboa; then again, haven't driven past any Chevrolet dealers lately...

WTF?????

Not surprising... When I got the Megane last June I had a choice between ordering with Nav or an extended warranty; I went for the warranty without a doubt.
