My 1st 'evah' Cruze. Silver LT model, which IIRC in Portugal means it has the 2.0L turbodiesel engine. I think the 1.6L gasoline engine is only offered in the LS trim level here, and Portugal doesn't get the 1.8L gasoline engine. It doesn't look bad at all, although that little black thingy behind the rear doors would look much better if it was shiny plastic instead of that brightless plastic...

I remember the Internet rumour mill saying the Astra sedan might revive the Ascona nameplate (basically a copy of the rumour Renault will change the name of its Megane sedan), so I am pretty sure you will see an Astra-based sedan and that it will make it to the US as a Buick. The hatches and wagon, I'm not so sure... I don't know how well the Mazda 3 hatch sells.

Global Motors or maybe... Geriatric Motors? Seriously, I don't think GM needs a name change.
