  1. I meant if it was priced as high as the GTO. It most likely wouldn't sell much. One reason why the 4th gen didn't do so well is it was overpriced, among other things.
  2. $24 for the base V8? That's basically the samething I said in my first post, only two grand more. I seriously don't think GM can match the Mustang's price, and sadly if it can't, it's a lost cause, because not everyone finds and overpriced car appealing. Atleast I don't know many people who get excited over a car not worth the price... The top model if it has over 400 hp. should be no higher than $35k.
  3. Well it is a dream, but they need to be cheaper than the mustang... Or match the price. They aren't going to get anywhere with GTO pricing(33k+)...
  4. They need a 310(give or take a few) horsepower model that's 22k with all the options.
  5. What the hell is their problem? Did they not notice the bankrupcy? Do they actually think striking will help them? The government should nuke the UAW...
  6. I hate it when people say he should be fired... Seems when something's failing badly or not doing well they always try to look for someone else to lead for a quick escape.. (I.E. Shwarzenegger for California and Hitler for Germany).
  7. Nothing, I think it's good we can exploit them with cheap labor! No need to move to Asia, we can get cheap labor right here in America!! I'm glad you guys agree that equal rights is not the answer. Who needs equal rights when it benefits corporations? I wish all Americans weren't lazy and don't work at all! I wish we would bust our balls to make ends meat. We can't sustain ourselves, because we're lazy and don't want to work. We just want to sit around our mansions with our hometheater systems smoking cigars that we lit up with 100 dollar bills that we obtained with our rich uncle's money. Right now I'm typing this up in my private jet. I'll never have to work in my life....
  8. That's the way it is all around the world....
  9. Wow, you see a car you really like and think it has great styling/performance and then you go and buy something else, because it had a manual top.... :| That's like WEIRDDDDDD........!?! I doubt he was seriously considering it, if that was the dealbreaker. More like a casual glancer on the side of the street and going to look at it.
  10. The nomad = better choise in production...
  11. Here's an interesting article... http://www.laweekly.com/index.php?option=c...awcontent&task= view&id=12763&Itemid=47#Continuation Smokin!Leaked single from long-awaited Guns N’ Roses’ album rocks hard By SCOTT T. STERLING Tuesday, February 28, 2006 - 10:11 am Kurt Cobain must be spinning ’round like a record in his grave. For all of the noise about the supposed cultural/musical paradigm shift created by Nirvana cleansing the world of supposed dinosaurs like Def Leppard, how is it that in 2006 rock music is flabbier and more toothless than ever? I’d trade a dozen of these knee-biting emo dorks for just one song that could hang with “Photograph.” The only son of a **bleep** with enough piss, vinegar and kill-’em-all attitude to shove an M-80 up rock’s collective ass right now is Axl Rose. And from the sound of the recently leaked new Guns N’ Roses song “I.R.S.” — from the eternally forthcoming Chinese Democracy album — he’s ready to blow **bleep** up. Classic rock radio station KLOS-FM snuck “I.R.S.” in during a block of GN’R, and the song fit like a glove. Opening with a flash of Led Zeppy acoustic guitars and pedal-steel accents, it soon explodes into a rush of Buckethead’s psychedelic power chords and Rose’s psychotic nasal whine. Rose sounds great, confidently working his upper register and showing more vocal control than ever. He nails confessional lines like “Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been wrong/Wouldn’t be the last time should have gone/All the rumors I can tell/Some things didn’t work so well.” It may be a shot of desperation from the last of the Mohicans, but it’s a direct hit. My money’s on Axl Rose saving the day in 2006, akin to what Mariah Carey did for the pop children last year. Who you got?
  12. I disagree, listening to this new stuff got me into their band. I didn't care for their old stuff except welcome to the jungle. Although I haven't heard much of their old stuff. There maybe a few who think it's not as good, but I don't doubt he'll make tons of new fans. Like me.
  13. Ok? I think it's really impressive. So far I like it better than the old stuff I've heard... But I've only heard 3 or 4 songs of their old stuff. T.W.A.T. is pretty good aswell. I.R.S., imo, is ok though. It's good, but doesn't compare to the other two. Keep in mind though that better isn't finished. The transitions aren't great. I expect that to be ironed out in the final version.
  14. Whoa you're short!! In my dad's formula he had to take the seat off the slidey thing and put it on a custom piece of metal so it could be even farther back. It's lower and one inch away from the rear seat. And he's shorter than I am.
  15. So when Tracii Guns, Ole Beich, and Rob Gardner left they weren't GnR?

    MySpace?

    I guess I'll post mine. http://www.myspace.com/joelv5
  17. HOLY CRAP YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking all over the web for that. Thank you. The other version sucked. It wasn't the full version. It may not be the original GNR, it's still a great band. Better is an awesome song!! So are the other two leaks.
  18. I think they should just leave the console in the second and third row seats, they need them! The tv's don't matter, imo.
  19. The starter of the thread, but I said that, because my dad's suburban has the most wind noise EVER!! You can see daylight through the doors, because they're so messed up. When driving on the highway you can barely hear someone if they're yelling at the top of their lungs.
  20. Well if tracks are getting leaked, I'd say it's pretty close to release. Also it's probably just Rose trying to get reaction of the public to see if it's good to them. And slash said he listened to it and liked it. Slash also said it would come out in March... I'm not going to believe it till I see it too, but that's something to take note of. Atleast this album won't be rushed. :AH-HA_wink: I've listened to Better, IRS, and There was a time. I think they're all great, but better is the best of the three, imo. Too bad it's incomplete.
  21. Well this is a couple days old, but I didn't see it posted here.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060221/ap_en_...c_guns_n__roses Axl Rose ended his hermit-like lifestyle by venturing out to a Korn tour launch party in Los Angeles and to trendy nightclubs for some post-birthday bashes (his 44th) in Manhattan. Asked at the Korn bash about "Chinese Democracy," which has been in the making for a decade, Rose told Rolling Stone.com that "people will hear music this year." The tracks leaked Wednesday take a different direction from Rose's traditional raunchy Sunset Strip-style rock. "Better" has emo/industrial touches mixed with Rose's trademark vocals and hard rock backdrop. "There Was A Time" is a rough studio mix of a power ballad with similarities to GNR's classic "Estranged." "IRS" is closer to the sound of yesteryear, with powerful guitar solos and classic rock flavor. Rose's manager, Merck Mercuriadis, ordered the Internet sites to remove the links, but declined to comment on them. Fans also sent one of the leaked tracks to radio stations. Mercuriadis said cease-and-desist orders were sent to the stations, but some, such as WAAF in Boston, still had "IRS" in heavy rotation Monday night. News also surfaced Monday that several music festivals, such as the Rock in Rio-Lisboa and the NovaRock festival in Austria, had booked the band to play in May and June, respectively. Lisa Reed, wife of keyboard player Dizzy Reed, said on her husband's web site that "all signs point to (the album) getting closer and closer," and she pleaded with fans not to leak the rest of the album. "It's like shaking all your Christmas presents on the 23rd of December," she wrote, "and figuring out what they are."
  22. The market is already saturated, imo. I don't think we need more brands.
  23. I never said they were, but I know they're not slobbering over Saturns and they may be kids with very little money, but I can guarantee you that when they do earn more money they won't buy a Saturn or even go to a dealer that sales them. But I guess they're not really targeting kids. Saturn has an image like kia. They're known by lots of people, but not many people will consider buying them, imo. You guys keep saying people who think saturn shouldn't get product and have a bad image are just biased to the older brands, but the same could be said about you that you're biased towards Saturn. Not to mention I guess no one can say how well Saturn's brand image is, because you can't be around millions of people to tell and who you're around will influence your thoughts of its image.. For example if you're around people who don't like it, you're going to think no one likes it, but at the same time if you're around people who like it and own it you're going to think people have a good view of them. P.S. Like I pointed out earlier, 5 years ago people didn't like Cadillacs except old people. No one thought they were good looking and would rather have something else, but look at them now. Lots of people like them now and think they're cool and good looking. Their image has gone up alot and image isn't just what people who buy them think, btw.
  24. My own bias? Yeah right. I wouldn't be so quick to spew out crap like that. First of all, I'm just going by everyone that I've been around think, and the whole general population around me. I know that isn't everybody in the world, but it's a good way to see what people think. Saturn's image IS tarnished with 9 years of the same stuff that most people that have money don't want. Btw, I used to like saturn. I thought they looked decent and was a big fan. I still like some of them, but I'm not going to deny people generally don't want to drive them. Atleast from what I've seen. I've never seen anyone in my age group go, "I want a Saturn". I've seen them say "I'd only drive one if it was free". I wouldn't be asking for studies from people either unless you have studies that prove otherwise, because I could just say the same thing.
  25. That's like saying that a car with lower quality rubber on their wheels compared to the competition is a bad disadvantage. How again exactly does hard plastic look worse? Plastic is plastic, there is no such thing as higher quality plastics in cars. It's just personal preference that makes people like certain plastics better. Again the hard plastics aren't where people are going to touch very often and if your head hit padded vinyl, you'd probably still be dead or be hurt really bad, it's not an airbag... which most cars do come with now days.
