  1. I keep reading that people are saying the market will be too crowded with a camaro/challenger, but if they build the car right and make it attractive, it'll create NEW market...
  2. Why can't they fine dealerships that mark up the price? Or can they? They should, and if fines don't stop them, just cut supplies untill they make an agreement to not raise prices on high demand vehicles!!
  3. But adding a nav would increase the weight. Instead of putting it on a diet.
  4. The GTO didn't do well, because it was always limited production, the styling was average to bad, and it was too expensive!
  5. The Mazda MX5 Miata has been the world’s top-selling entry-level two-seat roadster for 16 years now since it’s debut in 1989. The MX5 was the brainchild of Bob Hall, who is now working at Proton in product development. But the past two months have been different with the launch of GM’s new Pontiac Solstice roadster which had sales figures double of the newly redesigned 2006 Mazda MX5 Miata. Pontiac Solstice sales for December were 2746 units where the Miata’s was 1007. January’s sales figures were 1990 units compaed to the Miata’s 1067. Is this just a short burst of sales or will the Miata’s throne finally be toppled? Your thoughts? http://paultan.org/archives/2006/02/08/200...es-miata-sales/
  6. This is no good, this is no good at all! They already don't do enough advertisements to get things known about their products, but now it'll be worse, unless they hire people who know what they're doing and actually advertise their strengths...
  7. Yes they could co-exist. The Firebird would have a V6, V8, and higher performance V8 models. The GTO would only have one high performance V8 model making them not competition with eachother.
  8. Yes and those minor things are the only things I think they'll change. On the outside of course...

    G5

It should be called Gfive or G-Five instead of G5. Alphanumerics are weak, especially with their other names like Gran Prix, Solstice, Torrent, Firebird, Trans Am, etc.
  10. An improvement, not bad, but it looks much better on the Tahoe.
  11. Incentives aren't as good as having the price low in the first place..
  12. Of course you can... It's bigger news when Honda has problems... Although when GM has the same problems, people don't ignore it or never hear about it.
  13. I think it'll be less of a change than the solstice. I can only see them adding door handles and maybe different mirrors.
  14. Ok, so you're saying because it's Asian it'll always triumph and one day become a worldwide brand?
  15. Actually Cadillac and Buick are ranked 4th and 5th. Still good though. Oh and here are the statistical problems with CR. http://www.allpar.com/cr.html
  16. Um, I learned that putting Premium in a car that only requires regular, doesn't make it have more hp. Is this wrong? Or is what I've learned right?
  17. Weak. Can't they make their own cars? I have no respect for a company that freeloads off of another to make good vehicles. I thought this was a merger?
  18. Great article in that link... Japan pisses me off!
  19. No, it would cost too much to kill a brand... They still haven't made up for killing Oldsmobile, besides Buick has been stale since the 90's, nothing has changed except for new models and weren't the LaCrosse and Lucerne being developed before Lutz joined GM?
  20. Looks great, imo. Better than a bland one color paint job.
  21. That interior's UGLY!!! The top part of it is all cluttered, but the bottom has nothing but an analog clock.... It's not right... Atleast make the top and bottom equally as cluttered, or spread it out so it's only alittle cluttered.
  22. Get rid of the license plate on the front!! Other then that, it's awesome.
  23. Then again, who's to say it won't have 21" wheels? The Escalade has them...
  24. I think maybe you should sit in it before you judge that... And it's more of a modern design, imo. It looks like the older ones, but it's more modern than retro, imo. Besides who says design can't move forward when it looks backwards?! It can evolve in a different way than what happened in the past. It's like a start over and they're going to evolve it into a different car...
