    I'm pregnant

Good luck and best of wishes to you and your growing family. Let us know how it went. My prayers are with you.
  2. morning
  3. Fantastic. I'd even consider getting an E85 Colbalt if and when E85 becomes an option for purchase out here and I am in the market for another all weather daily driver.
  4. You know, GM could always NOT send that dealer a Camaro. And I would be laughing for a long time. Dealers can charge whatever they want but Chevy needs to make the statement that there is a limit. On the other hand, any idiot who pays $25K over price for the first Camaro THAT dealer gets deserves whatever they get. NOthing states that it will ever be a special edition or have any extra value, in fact it probably won't. I'd hold out to see if there will be a Pace Car edition or a 69/09 heritage edition. Something that is a bit different and possibly special.
  5. ow ow ow ow ow ow ow If they try selling it here, there's a bunch of logging truck drivers that will be popping chery's
  6. That's hilarious. I love it!!!!
  7. Somehow I just got an image of you trying to drive a car over a barcode scanner and it won't read. Forward, reverse, forward, reverse, etc.
  8. LOL at Oldmoboi... But I agree that Lutz would love to hear as much enthusiasm and feedback for other products. I really hope the upcoming cars from all divisions of GM blow people away.
  9. 1. Left Lane Vigilantees - you know those people who drive slow in the left lane. They think they are keeping you from getting a ticket or something. 2. People who cannot stand to be passed - You move over to pass and they hit the gas. Then match your speed or they drive away fast for a bit then slow down. Which leads me to three. 3. People who pass you only to slow down to below what you are driving. 4. People who can't stay in one lane. - pick a lane. ANY lane! 5. People not paying attention to their surroundings. - Now, most of us have had a blonde moment but come on, some people never watch out for others. 6. Cars with WAY too much bass. When the gas cap opens, and your body panels are about to fall off, it may be a bit overboard. If it is louder next to your car than the C-17 engine run I just finished at work. You may be experiencing metal fatigue in that car as well.
  10. I have a problem with salespeople hounding me. I always like to look around and see what a dealership has. When someone asks me what I am looking for, I ask for the chance to look around alone first. If they won't leave right then I get in my car and drive away. When I do have a question, I usually know most of what I am looking for. If they try to feed me a line, I walk. I have left behind a couple of cars I was interested in just because of the salespeople at the dealership. Most cars I can find all over the place. Although, a third generation Camaro convertible seems rare around here. And don't get me started on trying to find a 1989 Turbo Trans Am. I want a salesperson to sell me the car not to try to convince me to buy something I am not interested in. Around here, we have some VERY good ones and some that should be holding up a sign at a road construction site.

  12. Gotta agree with Fly on this one. Although this is a hard topic to keep apolitical since the main subject is a political figure. My problem with Gore on this one is since he talks to passionately about being carbon neutral and environmentalism is that his life should be ehat he expects of us. His homes and offices should use alternative energy and he should be making sure that what he does lives up to his message. If you want to be the leader of the movement you have to live it at least as much as you wish others to. As for me, I recycle, use compact fluorescent light bulbs, drive an economy car as a daily driver, keep all my cars in tune (which is a big deal for emissions), just replaced a lot of my appliances with energy efficient ones (wow that hurt the wallet). I am not an environmentalist but I do believe in taking care of where we live. Washington State is a beautiful place to live and I really enjoy the outdoors. I am not perfect about these issues (I have a drag racing habit that constantly needs a track) but a bunch of little steps from all of us does go a long way.
  13. It sounds like there were a lot of non-rotary cars at this show so the show description you have there, panther, doesn't apply. I'm not jumping your case here, I just think it isn't a big deal in a completely open show. Now, if they were having a show with specified entries (like only Chevies, or pre 72 cars) that would be different.
  14. That Corvette...If you get drunk and throw up on it, no one would notice. You'll never lose it in a parking lot.
  15. I second that motion. The new Camaro is excellent now let's make sure all of GMs line ups are world class.
  16. People do change, if they feel they have a reason to. I know I've gone through major changes, especially since fathering two children. I never wanted kids but now my wife and kids are the most important parts of my life. I've also grown more relaxed with who I am and gotten to like myself a lot more. I guess looking back at my life, I can really see how much I have changed and how much I now appreciate the life I have.
  17. If it was an open show then I would not be surprised to find about anything there. We've had a bunch of those kinds of shows here and I know a guy who drove a Kia in just days after he bought it. Hey, he really liked what he had and was proud to have a car. Most of the guys I work with are very cool about different cars and being open to what other people like. One coworker is into classic lowriders, I am into muscle and pony cars (plus trucks), another loves motorcycles, a few enjoy the AWD Subarus, some like small FWD cars. We joke with each other but usually are supportive of each others section of automotive enthusiasm. I had to add to this. Panther, its unfortunate that you cannot see the positives in a well designed and executed FWD car. There's plenty to enjoy there. You can look at my signature to see how much I enjoy RWD vehicles, but I've also driven and enjoyed a bunch of FWD as well.
  18. Excellent gas mileage, easy oil changes (I can reach the oil plug and filter by reaching under the bumper), easy maintenance. Cheap insurance. My 96 has now 207K miles on it and still gets 48MPG
  19. patience (I know its hard to maintain)
  20. Yes... It's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if they start selling them in 09 and CAN market them as a 2010, I think they should still be calling them a 2009 MY. That way they can do a special edition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 69..
  21. Doesn't that in itself give clues to just how close this car is going to be to the actual we will be driving? I was told a long time ago that any 'concept' Camaro would be very close to a production version.
  22. None of us can. And we have to be as harsh with people who attack our friends and families as possible. I'm in the military. I knew when I raised my hand that I am a legitimate target during a war but all of you not in the military are not combatants and should never be targeted. It always makes me mad that these cowards will attack the innocent and defenseless.
  23. Thanks for posting this. Now, let's what today brings. Hopefully a bunch of good news.
  24. Loud pipes save lives... I'd love to be there, unfortunately my life's in the way. Oh well, I'll have to settle for buying a new Camaro. Soon.
  25. I only saw 2 GMs in the top 5. (not to nitpick) I do wonder how the problems that Toyota has been experiencing (recalls and such) will affect their numbers when the next report comes out.
