  1. Agreed.
  2. I agree with you on the interior, etc. And I'll concede the point on the 3800, if it was being used for a few years and being phased out... but it's still here. It's time for all of the changes you and I mentioned, and the end of the 3800 in Buicks.
  3. GM is already almost there. They announced they wanted Buick to be a Lexus competitor years ago. What they're lacking is execution, and to a lesser exent, marketing. First of all, now that we know some form of Zeta is back on track, let's hope that becomes a reality. Make Buick's car lineup all RWD, and spread the platform to select Chevys and Pontiac if necessary to make the numbers work. Cars like the LaX and Lucerne are great cars and are priced well, but they're execution is off when they continue to introduced the 3800 in these so called luxury vehicles. The new website is great and they're commercials are getting better. Doing things like using the 3.6 HFV6 as it's only V6 doesn't mean coming upwith any new money. But it'll go a long way to helping the brand's image, which will allow them to command higher prices for Buicks. Chap. 11 has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, because the resources are already there. The only missing link is the RWD platform for Buick.
  4. ... bout time they made it offical.
  5. I believe Buick can be GM's other lux brand and overlap with Caddy. They have two different idenities, and two different missions. The Luceren V8's pricing would just be touching the STS's (V6), and a V8 only flagship would be 55K. That's in the same territory as the STS, but the Buick would compete with the LS/S-Class/etc. When Caddy get's it's flaship above the STS, it'll be atleast 60-65K, competing in the same class. It'll be the German killer while the Roadmaster offers lux at a more affordable price but with it's mission as a quiet, powerfull American Lexus alternative.
  6. Me too. That's what I've been saying for a while, how. Three sedans; straight forward and competing in specific segments (entry-lux,lux,large lux). Period. Make them quiet, powerful, and full of value.
  7. I agree 100%.

    Saturn SKY

    ^ Yeah, especially the F430.
  9. Looks great. I like the profile, door handles, and sweeping greenhouse. The M-esque front proportion looks good here, and something tells me that this front fascia (espeically the grill headlamps + grill) will be more aggressive looking for production trim, a la' Aura. Oh yeah, the Sky-like sid vent is a very nice (and sporty) touch.
  10. NIICCEEEE... They're staying true to the concept. This will be the best Theta, I think. I can't wait t see the final version.
  11. Yeah, I think so too.
  12. The Sentra's continued strong sales is amazing to me. It's long overdue for it's redesign... I think it sells well off the strength of the Altima and Maxima.
  13. That's an interesting point. Any chance of a version coming here as an Infiniti?
  14. Damn, you beat me to it. I think this type of vehicle is right up Buick's alley. I sat in one; didn't get do drive it. As was said, it's NO minivan, it's a bling cruiser.
  15. Good news. Let's hope its accurate. ... Zeta still looks to be coming to the NA market in one form or another.
  16. I wish. But it'll we'll most likely see a Saab badged lux version in the states... my question is, where does that leave Saturn. Do they get a version here too? I always loved that concept.
  17. In all, it's a bit of a dissappointment. I like the interior, not a big fan of the exterior. The question is, how will it stack to the competition.
  18. I do too. They're awesome. My dad has an '06 GS300... beautiful car, in and out.
  19. For the record, I don't hate Honda. Only Toyota. I think they need a RWD V8 flagship, but that won't happen anytime toon. The Honda could use a SWB, FWD version of the Accord to compete with the Avalon, perhaps.
  20. I almost shed a tear, reading the article. It's time for the engine to retire, but I'll always love that engine and LeSabre it was put in that my mom drove for years.
  21. I thought of that too. GM is making GMC the SUV compliment to both Pontiac and Buick... more Buick though. Buick will probably have just two brand car based suvs (Theta and Lambda) in future, and Pontiac (Theta and Lambda) will probably have the same... That leaves space for true SUVs with a Premium image to compliment the cars. They're doing what Ford did with Jag and Land Rover.
  22. More than that. The nickel satin finish, those awesome titanium gauges... this is a beautiful interior. Look at the steering wheel!! It's got a wood ring going around the wheel, and i love the design of the interior. The interior's definitely the highpoint, IMO. The Yukon looks bland, but the Denali looks more like a soft Escalade. If I bought the Yukon it'd have to be the Denali.
  23. Interesting... so the 6.2L will be the Denali's engine @ 380HP. I guess the rumors of a 400HP Escalade were well founded... Caddy's version is sure to make atleast 20 more HP. I'll take the Escalade on 22s, site unseen thankyou.

    GMC Yukon

I wish we could see the interior. Any pics of that. I'm curious as to how different it'll be from the Tahoe.

    GMC Yukon

Me too. You read my mind. The Tahoe is more chisled and sophisticated... the Yukon almost looks unfinished.
