  7. Little? LITTLE? more like big negative profits known only as LOSING MONEY. saturn has never turned a profit.
  8. fins do not do much for me.
  9. Satty you are stripped from your post whore 2003 status because of this!
  10. i get the small pickups.... compact ones... the ones only ford makes... because they still get reasonable gas mileage, have reasonable handling, and are great for those times when u really need a truck.
  11. i thought the name of this thread was Christmas Defribilators

  17. the base engine was like a 200 hp 3.8L V6.... and a supercharged base engine??? what.... no.... thats hell for insurance.... 3.8L is a boat anchor anyways, throw in a 3v DoD 3.5L as a base engine, tune it economically, 220hp is fine, make it get like 24/34 (maybe throw on Direct Injection and leave hp at like 225hp and make it get some serious gas mileage! im taking like 27/37.... that would be so awesome.... plus you would still have the growl of a OHV V6 in there, how about a lean-burner? yes... 215hp... whatever... 31/42 gas mileage...). For the performance junkies i think a 340hp 5.3L V8 should suffice, while the Z/28 could have a 395hp 6.0L V8 (cant top the vette :P ... well at least the numbers on the paper cant :) ) i think that a fuel efficient base camaro would be a HUGE marketing tool! equivalent power to the mustang with so much better gas mileage... i would so totally buy one... environmentalists would LOVE GM and it would help GMs CAFE ratings... plus it would be very unique to have a lean-burn, DI, 3v, DoD Pushrod engine. maybe put 3v and direct injection on a LS7 and make it have like... 750hp as a special edition camaro :)
  18. sounds like my kind of car :)
  19. my car says 4spd w/overdrive... so your telling me my car doesnt have overdrive? :P
  20. Saturn models need to remain differentiated from the rest of the brands... but i think saturn dealers still need to be haggle-free....
  21. ACURA A LOSS LEADER??? Acura has posted sales gains like every month. the NSX is woefully outdated (its like almost 16 years old), and it isnt fast in a straight line, but it handles very well and could easially compete with the corvettes of its day on a track, not in a straight line.
  22. i didnt read your first post, the 240sx is nice, but the last gen 240sx was even nicer and they really need to bring it back so i can buy an affordable RWD small light car.
  23. Why does the EPA go through the whole process of determining fuel estimates for cars if the automakers present the numbers? the automaker has their own numbers before the EPA rates it and then the automaker has to put down the numbers that the EPA rated it at.
  24. The malibu and the G6 desperately need new interiors. the HV engines need 3v and DoD like.... NOW. the 3.5L needs to make at least 235hp and the 3.9L needs to make about 270hp. the 2.4L would make a fine base engine. All should be optional with a 5spd manual maybe give the GXP a 6-spd? i dont think it really needs a 6 though... and while they are at it, why dont they use all the $$ they save making pushrods and put Direct Injection on it... lets have the 3.5L make 260hp and get 24/35 and have the 3.9L make about 300hp and get 21/29, i dont think any1 will complain then. the G6 needs a new taillight assembly. When Epsilon II comes out i think it would be in GMs best interest to make both of these cars wider bodies and give malibu some circular tailights a la cobalt coupe. Actually i think the one single largest benefit GM could ever make to their current cars, is to take the general impala/lucerne/DTS dash except dont leave some big ole chunk of black plastic on it!! cover it up with cheap faux alumium or SOMETHING it looks SOOO bad with that black plastic. the Cobalt SS looks 1000000000000000000000000x better like that over the base cobalt. its simple and not all that expensive and it makes it look SOO much better! at least Ford has this concept down. but i have not driven any of these so i dont really know about the ride or nothing.
