  1. I can get a pic or two when I go in tomorrow. The rear two wheels are only steel rims so it looks rough with them. The only thing changed on it is the window tint which is a dark purple.
  2. I found this 91 Cavalier where the Aries was. You can see the $150 Aries in one of the pics. It still is there 2 months later. Anyways, this car was a two-owner car. It was bought in 94 as a used car by the parts manager's mother at this dealer. She babied it and drove it for 12 years. It needs some rocker work and the engine needs cleaning. The interior is almost spotless. The new car smell can even be smelled. The rear seat still has the dealer plastic on it. There is some rust on the bottom of the doors as well but a lot of it is dirt. It hasn't rusted through anywhere and is still original paint. There is one dent in the passenger side rear door. Minor though. It has 140,000 kms on it and they want $200 for it. What do you think?
  3. This one is decent. It just needs new paint and two rear rims. The car has no rust, except for a little spot on the front chrome bumper, interior is mint, it is grey, and it may need engine work but I am not 100% sure.
  4. It does have the Turob 3.8L. The thing is, I don't know what is happening with it. It has been sitting for a while and has been in our shop so it isn't neccessarily for sale. If I get the chance I would go for it.
  5. There is an 86 or 87 T-Type Regal sitting outside of my work. It has been there for 3 weeks or so. I don't know what is going on with it but I keep on telling the service manager not to junk it. It is quite nice but needs a little TLC. It is a T-Type because it is engraved into the dash. It also has the hood bulge and the Grand National rims. How much are these worth now when restored and would they be worth restoring? HERE ARE THE PICTURES FINALLY. Sorry about the focus. I was rushing so I wouldn't be late to work.
  6. My New Year's resolution is to finally buy a car I want and not one my dad wants.
  7. An Intrigue or a Regal are both nicer looking than the Millenia. Especially the Intrigue.
  8. I love the wagons. There was an article in Motor Trend Classic saying these will be future classics.
  9. The RWD Buick Roadmaster, Caprice Wagon, and the Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser are all underappreciated. Especially now when they will be collectors because they were the last of the large RWD wagons. I just saw one for $500. It was for sale for $1500 about 2 months ago but nobody wanted it but now they want to get rid of it. It is a 1991 Buick Roadmaster with the wood panels and it didn't look it too bad condition-wise. 1991 Buick Roadmaster
  10. I also think the early Cavaliers, with the 2.0L or even the 2.2L are reliable. I may try to find a wagon model because they are really cheap on insurance up here.
  11. Here is the actual car. It is a 1970 with 7953 miles on it or kms. 1970 Chevelle
  12. Here is an interesting typo in the Toronto Star. Read the highlighted and lets see what you think.
  13. Dodge Dynasty and Hyundai as a company now are underrated. Our Dynasty was a trooper and Hyundai is great now but it wasnt then and people dont forget that.
  14. I just looked at the Dakota today. $600 for it As Is, the engine runs great with 211,000 kms but it smells like it burns oil. It even had a sunroof lol. It has potential, if you have about $5000 to put into it. The interior is, well, showing its age but the seat is actually very good condition. There is a huge crack in the windshield, The sheetmetal under those plastic fender accents are rusting apart, front barely stays on, and the paint is peeling. The rims are worn out, but I like that style of rim anyways, and the motor is quite rusty and didn't look too great from when I saw it. The engine would be easy to work on because everything is so spaced out. Satty, it has the 3.9 Magnum, not the 3.7. It ran pretty good. It would send even better with a new exhaust system, but I may wait. I dont think it is going anywhere anyways. I will still leave the pic in my sig though because I just love how it was with that tree in the foreground. The great outdoors kinda feeling I guess but of course the Volswagen dealer ruins it. "Not every Jetta owner hikes!!!" lol. (from a Volkswagen commercial, not sure if they show it in the US)
  15. Hespeler Road, thats a familiar road for me. My aunt lives off of it on Eagle Street where all the dealerships are such as that Pontiac GMC dealer and a Dodge one that I wouldn't recommend. Toni, ever seen an 05 Magnum RT driving around Cambridge or Kitchener. It is that Magnesium colour with black powdercoated rims with the Viper hood and LEDs front and back. If so than taht is what my aunt's boyfriend drives. It is pretty sweet and its the only RT I have seen in that colour.
  16. The rollbar isn't in the best shape anyways. And the lights are gone on it. I like the rollbar though. Just needs paint.
  17. Ya I have come across quite a few. I just dont post the ones I dont like lol.
  18. I found this old 1989 Dakota Sport in an empty lot with some other junkers, Golf, 2 Aerostars, and a 94 Cavalier with a huge whole in the drivers door. I actually went to check out the Cavalier but this. It is in bad shape but the body isnt too bad on it. It has rust on the rockers (not eating away) and the paint is peeling but on trucks, most stuff is replaceable compared to a unibody. The biggest thing that concerns me is the crack in the windshield and I dont know how it runs. However, I have always loved these Dakotas.
  19. Sure if you are absolutely willing to part with it lol. It wouldn't get here by Christmas but I could use it for his birthday in January.
  20. I posted about 100 threads on potential cars I was going to buy, and more to come lol.
  21. Canadian mail, probably not. I will check with the dealer but I could also trick him on his birthday soon in January. YJ, is that key from anything that would actually need it lol. I wouldn't want to take a key you need or can't send lol.
  22. They want a 2006 but they wouldn't know the difference between a pre-2006 anyways. As long as it is different from a set of keys for a 1999 Lumina then I am good to go.
  23. Hey thanks lol. I was surprised when I saw the Magnum. Maybe Ralph did look at that Magnum drawing I sent him earlier this year. The C&G Designer's Guild will get started, I promise. I plan to start it off in the new year though.
  24. I wanted to know if a blank key or set of keys could be made by GM to look like stock Chevrolet keys? I want to trick my grandpa when he opens up his present into thinking he got a new Impala. My whole family is in on it if we can do it and we will tell him we leased it for him. It is cruel, I know, but he loves practical jokes. Can this be done?????
