  1. This wouldn't be a first car. It would be a restoration project for my dad to drive.
  2. Hey BigPontiac, do you want to go knock them out for me lol. They made a nice car horrible looking. These cars are beautfiul. I would buy it if it didn't look like that.
  3. I have been there many times. My former neighbour bought all of his 11 Cadillacs he has owned from there. They should keep it as it is, maybe make a GM Canada car museum out of it.
  4. Take a look at this 88 Regal!!!!! They did it up to look like a rat rod. Why would somebody in their right mind do that? 1988 Buick Regal Ratrod
  5. I found a 67 or 68 Eldorado, gold in colour, east of my town and I really want it. It is in need of desperate restoration but the body and paint and still alright. I felt sorry for it because it is buried in a snowbank made by a snow plow in a lot with 2 or 3 Corvettes, 86 and 87 Corvettes. It is right beside a shop and I need to know whether parts for these are hard to come by. I know parts cars probably are. Also, are these reliable enough to make the trip to Woodward. I will update next time I find out some info.
  6. I still know where the Aries is. They want $500 for it now at another dealer. It needs rear struts, body work and who knows how rusty it is underneath. I don't even know the actual mileage. I actually found a 1967 or 68 Eldorado the other day but I dont know if it is for sale. It was gold and in need of desperate restoration. The paint and body were still good though.
  7. It is just surface rust but I decided to ignore this one. I took a look at it and something is up with it. Turns out it may have head gasket issues.
  8. Actually the steelies were 16", I found them under the company name Pacer.
  9. I am considering a low-mileage car, unfortunately it is a 1995 Neon but it does have 76,000 kms and is almost free of rust except for the underbody. They want $2000 for this car certified and all repaired, it needs new exhaust and new lines. Would this vehicle be worth $2000?
  10. There is a dark purple S10 here with a 350 for $1800 but it hasn't sold since it was put up in October so the price may be $1500 or something now.
  11. Here is a new program. You have to download something first but it is virus proof and the program is great. Here are some that I did. Here is the link. Envizio Wheel Wizard
  12. Get well!!! I know what you are going through. I was sick for about 3 weeks before this week and as of Wednesday I got sick again with the flu. I wasn't reading 105 though, more like 102. Anyways, get better, getting sick sucks especially when my boss won't let me not go into work if I am even sick. He says we should have booked it off the week before which is stupid because you usually don't get the heads up by then.
  13. My neighbour had an Ultra model. He has since passed but he bought it new. They moved away so I have never seen the car again. He had 3 or so Cadillacs.
  14. I think it is great but since he is Canadian, shouldn't they bring the majority of them to Canada. I heard we were getting under 50 of them while the US will get 200 or so. I mean come on, it has the maple leaf on it too. The paint and details just dream Canadian. How about a Canadian Vette rather than an American Vette for this one.
  15. I really like listening to Our Lady Peace's song "In Repair". The lyrics have quite a bit of meaning and the song's title says a lot as well.
  16. Happy birthday!!!!
  17. Very good presentation. Change the grille and rear shape in front view. Rear decklid looks too boxy and that grille makes it look like a Prius.
  18. I'll let TED confirm that it is a CXL. I am absolutely sure it was. I should've gotten a picture of the badging.
  19. It was going to cost me like $11,000 US tuition each year for CCS in Detroit and $2500 for housing each semester. Now I can go to Humber College that is 45 minutes away to drive and I would only have to pay $5000 Canadian a year or $2500 a semester. The only other add-on is books and supplies which is like an extra $2000 but CCS would have been more.
  20. Yes this is the CXL. The badging admits that. Apparently those are the CXL rims and then you can upgrade to the ones on the show vehicle we have been seeing.
  21. I don't mean it in any disrepect to the US but I don't have to go down to Detroit anymore for college!!!! I am very pleased as it was going to cost a fortune. I just found out that Humber College in Toronto is the first school in Canada to offer Automotive Design. This is great so I can stay at home and drive down everyday. This school will also be cheaper to get into, don't need to pay for residence, and it is all in Canada within 45 minutes from me now. Now this is only bad for me in the aspect that: I probably won't be getting another car until I can save up for a relatively new commuter and I will have to commute everyday even in our nasty winters.
  22. Here is what I got to see at the Toronto show, a red 2008 Buick Enclave CXL. The red looks really good on it.
  23. That isn't a Previa in the background. It looks to be a Ford Transit which would state that this was done in Europe. Those insane Europeans.
  24. Its funny how they could barely find a $1000 car. I have found several and that is only counting my town which is small. The GTA has plenty as well. They all run fairly well. It is just the bodies that aren't too good but look at that Caddy, it had holes in it. I literally thought he was going to go into the alligator pond.
