I am liking it but something about the rear fender is odd. The rear also looks like an Audi TT. However, the front is beautifully aggressive and the interior is meant for it and I think the interior has a bearing resemblance to the Shelby Cobras and so does the rear fender. It may actually be the wheel wells I dont like. I would have to see it in person though.

That was good. I have to say I loved that Cadillac. The Ram was alright too. It is good that they gave them to some in New Orleans but the cars might create some problems long-term wise. When they got to the south, that was scary.

Pontiac G8 police package??
american_revolution_2005 replied to cavalier36's topic in Heritage Marques
That would be nice to have a Pontiac police car. Our town had a 1988 Fleetwood as a police car and they still do. It was mostly for show. But how about that, how many people can say they were arrested in a Cadillac. -
Transmission Woes...SHIFT DAMMIT!!!

And you were the one who told me to buy a Geo Prizm. I wouldn't drive any Toyota garbage anyways. If I did, the car may just go ramming GMs and innocent Berettas. -
2008 Refreshed Dakota

This is better than the last but I still don't like it 100%. It is aggressive but boring at the same time. What is with GM and Chrysler? Both newer versions of their midsize trucks looked better before the current generation. The biggest being the Colorado, the S10 was beautiful before, now, I can't stand the Colorado or Canyon. -
The 3 door is nice. The 5 door looks too much like a Golf/Rabbit. For small cars, automakers should really show the low-end models as well. For a small car, the base models will sell as much as the top of the line because people buy them because of the price otherwise they may move up a step.

That Tom guy is the administrator. He gets added on every profile. I deleted him on my profile lol. My other friends just got mysteriously deleted too???

Sweet. My mom is a contractor and she has to work most days like that too. There was about 15 other people working with her but she was the only one that didn't get laid off. They like her work I guess.

Ok thanks. What would have to be done to put the new steering wheel in? I will probably do a couple interior mods once I get it. Brushed aluminum dash trim, new radio, a new steering wheel would be nice and maybe a new background thing for the gauges. As for the outside, get rid of the wheel covers if I can and maybe put mesh grille inserts.

I know of a one owner 1975 Cadillac Deville that would make a good project car. I don't think it runs but it could use a better engine anyways. It has been in storage for about 15 years by my neighbour. He bought it brand new.

Also, would a G5 Pursuit radio be able to be installed into a 99 Sunfire and maybe even the 07 steering wheel? Reason is, if I buy this car, it doesn't have a CD player and I want to keep the stock look. Also, I love the 07 Pontiac steering wheel but I doubt this could be done. There is a junkyard that has an 07 G5 that could supply these parts except for the rims.

Some Newish Photos of the Intrepid

Nice. I loved our Concorde. It was a big car but it served us well. -
Can a 2.2L Ecotec easily be put into a 1999 Sunfire that only has the 2.2L? I want to know because I heard that the 2.2L are pretty shotty but the Ecotecs were significantly better. Could this be done without switching out the tranny? The engine in it is fine but once it starts getting into the higher mileage in the future. Also what else would need to be changed? Also, can G5/Cobalt rims be put on a 99 Sunfire and are they the same bolt pattern. They both have the 5 wheel nuts but I don't like the look of the wheel covers.

I haven't sealed the deal yet but it is looking pretty good. It is a 1999 and looks exactly like the Sunfire in my sig. -

This show actually sucked pretty badly. He is the only reason I actually enjoyed it. Performance World is much better and bigger but they are similar to Autorama. He was actually pretty nice. I don't think he would be able to overhaul my old Beretta lol. I made some money off of it because someone in town needed a parts car. That got me $500. Maybe I will call him after I get the Sunfire. BTW, SS623, I got that Camaro shirt from GM at Woodward. It is a pretty sweet shirt. -

I just got back from Speedorama in Toronto. It was alright but I met someone interesting. Here is the picture of himself and I.

Dodgefan, the Shadow has the 2.2L and is a 1993 4 door auto. My teacher heard about my incident and she may sell me her 1998 Sunfire 2door 2.2L for $2grand. She bought a 2006 Saturn Vue and the dealer would only give her $300 for it. To sell it, she put it in our shop and she had new brakes all around and more done to it. I know because I installed the brakes and I found out after it was hers and it was for sale. It has no rust at all. Tire pressure is full. I filled them. Yep. Lol. Oh well, maybe things do happen for a reason.

I was never planning to buy a Toyota and now I definitely am not. I'll stick with American, or Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Mazda. Notice one thing. Those three foreign car companies are have a share in them owned by an American car company. Mazdas are nice but not the older ones before 99 and the Millenia I do not like. All newer Hyundais I would except because they have earned a status with having good vehicles.

Malibu progress & show
american_revolution_2005 replied to mightymouse's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
Lookin good. I went to the show too. I grabbed quite a few Camaro posters and they are all gone. I have one for myself but everyone else I knew wanted one. Good news for Chevy I guess. The Volt is excellent. I gave my auto shop teacher a pamphlet on it and he wants one already. He is a GM guy and he loves the muscle cars but because of gas, he loves it. He said he would probably buy one if they come out. -
I got a car last week on Monday the 7th. It was a clean, blue 1993 Beretta GT auto with the 3.1 V6. It had one spot of rust that was only on the surface and it only had 165,000kms on it. I got it for $1200 as is. Now I would've posted pictures if my camera wasn't on the fritz. One problem now, on the way to get the car emission tested, my dad was driving up the street in our neighbourhood when our neighbour's 4Runner veered into his lane. The 4Runner (1998) hit my car while on the way to Canadian Tire. My dad tried to turn out of the way but it had snowed the night before and the rear of the Beretta just slid out and the 4Runner hit the driver side door and the rear quarter panel. She was doing about 65 km/h and it bent the frame. The driver-side door and rear 1/4 are pushed in pretty good and the rear wheel was bent in because the suspension broke. We need wider roads in our neighbourhood and the plow needs to come more often. I am so mad because the car was totalled and now it is sitting in the towing yard all covered up. Luckily my dad was OK but his back and shoulder are hurting him quite a bit. I found out what happened when the hospital called and I saw the car at the accident when we were going to the hospital. My week has been ruined. Our neighbour being a good friend and all put in the report that she caused the accident so we are getting the insurance money to cover most of the car. So now after finding the car I wanted, I am going to have to find another one. So far, I am looking at a 93 Shadow and a 1991 Dodge Colt 500E hatchback. I should've gotten a picture of this one before but my camera wouldn't do it. I fixed it before Detroit but my card couldn't hold many more pictures and I just never thought of getting a picture right away. It was such a nice car. So my first car was totalled within a week and I only got to drive it twice. BTW, what is it with Toyotas hitting GMs. Flybrian, now I know how you feel lol.
