  1. Your going my way of thinking too. I plan to find another Buick by the end of the year but RWD and older. Most likely an older Lesabre or Electra. Your 76 Lesabre looks awesome. I will have to try to find one around here.
  2. Hey Sixty8, How much did you but that 76 Lesabre? I am looking around for later this year to get another Lesabre but older. So far, I went to our local show & shine and an older guy had a fully original and mint condition 84 Lesabre Limited Coupe with the 305 V8. He mentioned he was going to sell it sometime this year but I don't know how much. It has 60,000 kms or 37,500 miles. I am curious to waht the price range for a good 70s Lesabre would be.
  3. I just found out that my dad doesn't want me to get this for him. It is in great condition but he said it isn't desirable enough. I showed him a 1980 Regal Sport Coupe turbo for about the same price and he likes it more. It has 60k kms and the seller wants $1500. Either way, I liked this more than he did but I would rather have another Buick in the driveway.
  4. Good for you! That is sweet. We may be adding another vehicle, that 76 Monaco or a 1980 Regal Sport Coupe turbo. I think I like the turbo better plus it would be another Buick. If only my dad could give into the Enclave. I was very convinced with it and it is cheaper than our Expedition.
  5. I have access to be able to get a 1980 Regal Sport Coupe turbo. How much do they go for?
  6. This is the car I found for my dad. I am really wanting to get this car as a present for Father's day/his birthday. I have the money but it just depends if he wants it. We will have to go get it and tow it back. It is only $1100 and needs emergency brake cables to be certified. The only other thing needed is bodywork to be done. There is some rust. The vinyl top and interiors are mint and all the chrome is as well. Plus it is a hardtop coupe. Here it is 1976 Dodge Royal Monaco hardtop. It would make a good restoration.
  7. Funny you say this lol. I was just about to post a thread to show a little glimpse at what I plan to buy for my dad. Sixty8 should approve, no B-pillar lol.
  8. I would like to run this guy over with an LS1-powered vehicle. Then we would see who stands up better. He definitely probably doesn't know anything about cars. First of all, that Monte Carlo would either have 3.1L or 3.4L whatever they had in it. The 4.3L was probably one of the most reliable engines out there plus 4.3 cylinders? Corvette since 1956??? I hope his grandmother runs him over as well with her wheelchair lol. Those rims weren't all that ricey as well. The second ones wouldn't even fit on a Civic. This guy just wasted 6 minutes of my life.
  9. I will see. My friend always told me to go to Carlisle so maybe now is the time. It would be a good show to debut the Lesabre T lol.
  10. Hey 68. I found a bustleback Seville awhile ago. It was $450 in Grimsby Ontario. It has probably been sold by now. Frank Sinatra Edition Imperials shouldn't be winter-beaters though. Maybe the regular model but the Frank Sinatra Edition is a rarity now.
  11. I have decided to keep this car fully stock. It looks and runs better than the guy made it to be. It needs some work but that is an MAF, and it needs the power steering to be checked out. All of my neighbours love it and I get complements as people walk by. One guy was an older guy in my neighbourhood and he has driven Buicks for years. He himself worked for GM many years back at the Oshawa plant until he retired. Many people stop because they think it is a Grand National. Underneath, the car is almost spotless. It appears to have just rust on the rockers and some suspension parts. I believe this car may have never been driven in winter and that may be true referring to the overall condition. The lady who owned it before the guy I bought it from was a little bit older and she drove it for 16 years. Then the guy bought it to drive in the winter. This is the only one in town and it definitely turns heads. There was an 80s Porsche driving by and the guy just stopped to look at it and he liked it.
  12. Here is my baby. Finally semi-clean. I washed it and shampooed the engine. It cleaned it a bit but you can't clean it all. The car is running better. Everybody who sees my car love it but many think it is a Grand National. Here are the pics. I like the one pic with our Expedition. Beauty and the Beast lol.
  13. You cleaned up the interior very nicely as well as the exterior. How long til it gets dirty again lol. I am going to clean up the T tomorrow.
  14. Sweet. I have to get the MAF sensor and put it in. I also have to get the power steering checked. And the AC worked today. The car was idling bad though so I need to get the MAF soon.
  15. It runs and drives great. It just sounds terrible idling but that is the MAF sensor. It also doesn't steer good while going under 25 km/h. But is fine over 25 km/h. It is just power steering. Its my baby now. My Beloved Buick, so far.
  16. LOL. I actually saw a 1991 Dynasty on the side of the road on the way there but I resisted. I will take pics after work when I get it tomorrow. I am seriously done.
  17. Today I checked out the 89 Lesabre T-type. Looked even better than in the pics and I GOT IT!!!! I bought it for $900 and I will take delivery of it tomorrow. Expect pictures soon!!
  18. Farkas got it. Its the Pontiac Sunburst. For Canada only like the Tempest, Lemans, Beaumont, etc. It was built between 85 and 88 I believe.
  19. Here is one little may know about. At least I didn't. Hint: It isn't a Chevrolet.
  20. When it says Uninsured Motorist Insurance, technically aren't they being insured in a way. Nice Cutlass though.
  21. Good point. The owner of this car now owns a junkyard up by my grandparents' place. It is a classic car junkyard and they have cars there that have been there since the 60s. I will have to check it out. The owner also owns many cars. He has a 1994 Impala SS and is a collector of the Lincoln Versailles and Mercury Monarches, weird choices. The yard has plenty of old Cadillacs, etc.
  22. Ya I know. I find something every week lol. I have just wanted a T-Type since I was younger. The Firebirds I have always liked as well. Time will tell but I know the T-type needs quite a bit. I did also find a Blazer with only 130k, a 97 but it was part of the Car Heaven program. It will be crushed. Here are some more pics of the 89 T-Type showing its condition. The thing I dont like about it is that is was patched behind the drivers door. T-Type pics
