  1. Delivery was delayed a day so I actually receiving it in about an hour. Pictures will be up later when I get back from work. Thanks. This car isn't mint but it is a good start. A new CRT and ABS computer were put in about 2 days ago and the brake lines were all done yesterday at no additional cost to me. He put about $600 just to get it ready for me and all fluids have been changed except for the oil.
  2. My black Reatta is coming on Saturday, I am so pumped. Needs little work but I got a deal. More miles than that one though but same year. It has 156k miles and is still running strong. I figured $2400 Canadian was good for it and it comes with a custom Reatta car cover as well.
  3. There we go finally. Yes I bought an 88 Reatta with the CRT and everything working. I am paying $2400 CAN for it and I will be receiving it on Satuday. Pictures of the Reatta and Lesabre T should be up once I get the car. I am excited to get it and it is as loaded as you could get one.
  4. I still have the Lesabre T-Type and my parents still have their Expediton and Tahoe. So this car is my personal car #2. I am still sticking with GM and it is still a Buick. I don't have it just yet but I am taking delivery of it this Saturday. What is it? I am buying a 1988 Buick ______. It was a deal I couldn't turn down and I love the car even though it is front wheel drive still. It has higher mileage, 156k miles but is still running strong. It has one rust spot which is quite huge but an easy fix. The car's interior is mint except for the center console in which the leather needs to be reupholstered. The headliner on the sunroof panel needs to be done as well but those are easy fixes. The leather seats have no rips and the car has a new battery, catalytic conv., new timing chain, and much more. The ABS system was also fixed on this too. The only work needed for me to do is the one spot of rust, new tires, and a new muffler. Possibly the rear discs may need to be done as well. They are still good but just rusty so they need to be turned. The 16-way seats work as well and all electronics do. The only thing aftermarket is a 10 Disc SOny CD Changer in the trunk hidden. It is a very nice car and I am getting it for $2400 CAN. I will let you guys guess what it is in the meantime before I get the car. I will have pictures of both Buicks up on the weekend. Feel free to guess and I will tell you then if you guess right.
  5. I have seen many. I have seen a 1988 Buick Lesabre T-Type for sale with 520k kms and still running, a 1992 Tercel with 700k kms, 1994 Altima with 1.5 million kms. I have seen some other GMs as well like the pickups and a few Grand AMs.
  6. We were going to stop by last year but everytime we drove down that way we didn't see Mightymouse's Malibu so we figured you guys weren't there. We also went out really early last year while it was raining and we drove the cruise at 7 or 8. It is an excellent event. We stayed north of 13 mile most of the time where Chrysler and GM was. I couldn't find Ford though. We were told where they would be but we went and couldn't find them. There should be plenty of 57 Bel Airs again for their 50th and the deuce coupes for their 75th this year.

  8. I wont be making it down this year though. I have been stuck with a family reunion the weekend before and can't get down both weekends because of work. Personally I would choose going to Woodward because me and my dad loved it. We talked about 12 families in to going down to see it. Next year I should definitely be there and with the T-Type as well. I am still waiting to get it painted but it still gets lots of looks.
  9. Good choice lol. Buick Lesabres rule!! I absolutely love mine. They are great relaible cars that are big and comfy. He should have a good time with it.
  10. Escorts are ugly. Around here they are everywhere and they are green station wagons too. They aren't very safe either. My favourite teacher drove one and he got into an accident which wasnt too bad but the car did nothing. He hasnt been at school for a year and a bit. Apparently it was a head on collision by a drunk driver, but the Escort didn't deploy the airbags and the crumple zones crumpled a bit too much as well as the rest of the car. He was the only one in the car luckily because the passenger seat ended up through the windshield. I find it weird but he had two broken legs and was in a coma for a bit. My other teacher has one too. It is a green 1997 sedan, but it has a green interior. He bought it brand new and it came with that colour interior which I had never heard of. It is the weirdest looking interior too.
  11. I love these Rampages. My uncle had a Turbo model and it was great. He sold it for a Dakota though. There is a Dodge Rampage running around my town. It is a rust free vehicle in mint condition. I talked to the owner and it has 80k kms on it. He owned it since new and is a collector of the small Chrysler K-cars etc. He has got one of those little K-car Executive Limos too which I find really interesting. I wouldn't mind having one with a Turbo because I never see them.
  12. I really like this model, however I think it would be really interesting to have a Panel HHR SS with the rear doors deleted. I think that would absolutely be amazing in black. Does anybody know the horsepower ratings yet though?
  13. Chrysler has a hit coming. I think I have seen a few in and around the Bramalea plant but they were camo'd. With the Magnum and 300C they could be seen driving with no camo. Hopefully that will be the same with this because it looks stunning and I can't wait.
  14. Those A-bodies do rust out. I have seen one that is currently for sale that has no rust. But then again it was garage stored and not driven in winter. It only has 76k kms on it.
  15. I just want to go down there and clean it myself. I am so anxious to see how it is under that mud. That chrome is especially promising as well as the fact that the tires still are holding air in the front at least. The interior has no hope though. They should restore the interior at least and leave the exterior clean but original.
  16. The 89 Buick Lesabre T-Type. Best car ever made lol. Or any other T-Type from the 80s like the Century T-Type or Century Gran Sport. How about the 86 Lesabre Grand National 117 built.
  17. I have absolutely no willpower for cars now. I was offered another Lesabre T-Type in an email sent to me and I want to buy it. A white 89 T-Type with 226k kms and almost no rust. The seller is also including almost enough T-Type parts to build another vehicle. He still hasn't gotten back to me with pics and a price but he needs to go car shopping first I believe. He responded to an ad before i bought my T and would like someone like me to buy it who knows how rare they are and would take care of it. My T-Type is clean today though. Got all water spots off of the car. I also bought an FM transmitter for my Ipod so it will play through the original stereo. It works perfect. I would rather keep the original cassette w/ equalizer lol than buy a new CD player. I don't have any CDs anymore anyways. All of my music is on my Ipod.
  18. That car does look nice. However, I don't like the size of the rims but maybe if they were 17s it would look nice. I love the monochromatic schemes.
  19. Most people do replace their vehicles if they are pleased with it. The old guy at my local car hsow has owned at least 2 of each generation Lesabres since 1959 and still ahs a mint 84 Limited COupe. He was angry when they got rid of the Lesabre so he got a Lucerne.
  20. Sixty8, you should know what I found, a 1981 Chrysler Imperial Frank Sinatra Edition. It is located in New York and is on Ebay. I have already contacted the seller because I find this a nice and desirable car. For me it is a must have. Classy and there was 148 built in 81. So far it is at $800. I will see what the buyer says because I want to bring it back to Canada but I may have time to meet up with some members if I do. SHipping is too expensive so we would rent a U-Haul or borrow our friends flatbed to bring it over. Just depends if the buyer will sell it to Canadians. If not then I will be extremely mad because these are rare. It is such a good price too for what it is. Here is the link 81 Imperial Frank Sinatra Edition I will have to keep my fingers crossed.
  21. Yes I know. I just want to find out more about this car. It is kind of weird that they din't list a number or email address though.
  22. I would at least like to have an email to contact. It would be easier because it would be really long distance call from Ontario. I at least would want a price to see if I could buy it from them privately. Thanks Fly... BTW does anybody know more about these West Palm Beach editions. Info seems to be scarce.
  23. I was looking at this car on Ebay for a while and I don't have a log-in there and can't anyways because it is the American site. I really want to know the email or somewhere to contact this person. I am really tempted to buy it because, it is good condition and I believe these are quite a rare package. I have only seen one before and it didn't have those rims either. I know I have the taste of someone not 16 but these are sweet cars. I would really like a RWD Lesabre that won't break the bank. I know it says reserve not met but I would like to find out the reserve. ANd yes I did see the plaid interior. Here it is. 1979 Buick Lesabre West Palm Beach edition
