  1. Sorry no digital camera. When i can i'll buy a regular disposable cam and get em put on a disc when i have the time.
  2. That's wierd. I wonder why there building GMC's there also, and who da hell that was driving that '07 Yukon in Mainsfield. Maybe a plant manager?
  3. Awesome, and I got you'r pm, but I don't have that available. Maybe you could scan the article??
  4. I should drive by the Arlington plant when i head to work tonight and see if i can see some tahoes/suburbans :P
  5. This motor in the Cobalt would draw ALOT of import fans IMO. While pissing off ALOT of SRT-4 owners lol.
  6. The Cobalt has far more torque than the motorcycle motor thats in the Honda. I dont understand why japan thinks horsepower is key. Even though the Balt makes more of that as well. I want a vehicle who gets its power quickly, not wanting to feel like i gotta floor it to get it moving.
  7. I've finally seen a Solstice up and close (I do weekend security at a VERY large dealership here; Hummer,Honda,Pontiac,GMC and Buick) and i've seen a black Solstice there...STUNNING car and to me deserved the COTY award alot more than the new civic..although the new coupe looks really nice even if the sedan looks highly akward, oh and theres lil' i'd change on the Solstice. That stance and styling exacution though..WOW.
  8. Stick that motor in the Cobalt!!!! :P
  9. For some reason the last sentence about being loyal through the good times and the bad made me tear up. I just want GM to keep making stellar vehicles that make me people run to the dealer and wanna get behind the wheel ASAP.
  10. Notice how they made sure to remind you that the Vibe uses a Toyota platform....Who'd thunk
  11. Dude I don't normally hate, but lay down the pipe. I've never seen any bad reviews for these vehicles and they're selling very well. Don't go posting information w/o something to back it up, and yes I can post reviews proving you wrong, but theres already quite a few on this great board.
  12. OK, well i'm gonna be leaving this coming saturday. Probably be in Iowa around the evening hours 5-6? maybe earlier
  13. I think it looks great.
  14. Depends on how close you are to the border. I could make a small detour.
  15. I can't stand feminem. The ONLY reason alot people buy his crap was because he is "white" and "supposedly" controversial. <_< Anyone remember horrorcore? They talked about alot of stuff that he was supposed to be the first to talk about. Only thing diff. is that he's white and was picked up by the doc. Gimme a break.
  16. done
  17. Yeah, truth be told a nice rural spot outside an urban area is ideal. I do enjoy the low noise/traffic of it here, plus the ATV riding.
  18. Having lived both I prefer urban. I hate having to drive into the next county over for good places to eat and to shop  ..can't wait tell i'm back home in Fort Worth. :)
  19. I'll be heading south mostly, going through the midwest states. Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma.
  20. [quote name='mute' date='Oct 31 2005, 08:07 AM'] Got that right. [post="36704"][/post] [/quote] its funny cuz your name is deftones fan.... def an mtv generation display name [post="36707"][/post] [/quote] To be fair I first heard the Deftones on the radio and fell in love with them. I didn't have MTV back in the day seeing how I grew up a poor ass white boy in the barrio. Not to mention that even though they play they're videos and also appear on MTV once in a blue moon, the Deftones are certainly not a "nu-metal" band. Chino's lyrics have alot more in common with some of the art-rock bands of the 80's, alot of them which he idolized.
  21. Sadly I never know when i'll ever get the chance to meet anyone from here. In a couple of weeks i'm heading back home to Texas from Wisconsin. Not sure if anyone on here would be in the states im going through, but heck if there is I wouldn't mind meeting he/she and talk cars.
  22. Too have problems with just ONE GM vehicle like these and saying your giving up on GM altogether puts you in the same mentality as most of america. Not trying to hate on you, but if you didnt have problems like this with your other GM vehicles then why consider ditching them based of ONE bad vehicle? No car company is perfect and things happen with vehicles that are sometimes unforseen. It's like you said "first year problems", so that might just be the issue, because it doesnt seem like very many people are having alot of the problems that your having.
  23. Got that right.
  24. Everyone and no one. :P
  25. Even from just those two pics I can tell it's going to be very nice. Love the intergrated turn signals in the mirror as well.
