Giving Thanks For Car Spots
I know. If only it were not Sport Red, I almost would consider an accelerated way out of the Mazda. Hmm. Drove up there Sunday night. The Mercedes dealer across the street is insane...palace doesn't even begin to describe it. The Toyota dealer has had the G8 GT for a while now, I remember seeing it on an Ebay ad several months back. They certainly have not dropped in price...an impressive feat.

Giving Thanks For Car Spots
Drove up to Doylestown for the first time late yesterday, to check out dealerships in the area a friend used to work for. At the Toyota/Scion lot, a car I had seen online before, and still there...2009.5 (signified by vin) bone stock Sport Red G8 GT with just over 5k miles. Wonder what they traded for. Beautiful car, had it been Pacific Slate instead...well... Then next door a few new Lexus CT200H hatchback things...never have seen one in person until now. Interesting small hatch, Hybrid or otherwise, and apparently one that does not sell at all despite being new.

Regal is for me
Awesome choice. After hitting the GM Main Street in Motion event this July, I really enjoyed the fit, size and feel of both the 2.4L and fully decked out Turbo Regals. Excellent cars, and the value makes them that much nicer. Great choice on the special lease 2012, now with factory remote start and other small revisions too.

Idiotic driving mistakes you have made in the last couple of years...
First weekday I had my new 2009 Avalanche Z71 2wd...drove home from work. My father had the driveway blocked, for some sort of landscaping. It had just snowed a week before with small remnants and still wet ground. I pulled in the front yard edge, just off the street. Nice. Went to move after...let's just say a locking G80 axle and one hefty truck made for a few very deep mud holes and slinging everywhere. Could not get it to budge an inch to the street. Took the Legacy AWD wagon with a tow strap to tug Mr. 1 day old Avalanche a few inches forward to pavement. Bad. Very bad. Never again did I touch anything but street & driveway. The neighbor was fascinated to watch it all... Dad? "Ha. Maybe you should have gotten 4wd..." Sure, Mr. Subaru. Mud=bad.

%$#@*&# SNOW!
Last Saturday of the month (should be a huge sales day) and combine ice pellets with snow and rain and frigidness...not nice. Snowed weird amounts in random places around Philly, as I saw driving around today. Some with a few inches, some with one, some with a dusting, all with a lot of melting wet roads. I remember trick or treating in western PA as a little kid on a freak snow storm Halloween before...back again that came.

Spotted A Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
Suburban...there isn't one. Unless someone made it look like so with the parts...

Spotted A Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
Yes...rare bird... http://www.cars.com/for-sale/used/wagon/jaguar/x-type/_/N-ma9ZflkZfheZh7oZm5d?sf1Dir=DESC&mkId=20066&mdId=22308&rd=100000&zc=19129&PMmt=1-1-0&stkTypId=28881&sf2Dir=ASC&sf1Nm=price&sf2Nm=miles&rpp=50&feedSegId=28705&searchSource=GN_REFINEMENT&crSrtFlds=stkTypId-feedSegId-mkId-mdId-bsId&pgId=2102&bsId=20216 Sunday... New temp tagged black '12 Hyundai Velostar. Looked so cool in the parking lot, out by itself. Saw from the back, really stands out, especially in black with the upgraded wheels. In person for the 1st time, cool car.

Spotted A Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
Astra day. A red 3-door coupe with the great looking factory 18" thin spoke wheels rolling along. Then later a black 5-door Astra parked on the street. Rare and good looking little German runabouts. Last night, a new red Fiat 500 lower level model on 18th St in Philly. Tiny. Parked with other cars, these look like Smart cars in length.

Spotted A Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
Out for a walk tonight around the neighborhood. 1) Black base'ish model 2011 Saab 9-5 on the corner. 2) New navy blue Camaro SS half on sideway, half on street. Nice. 3) Really "dressed" yellow Hummer H3 that moved onto the street recently.

Spotted A Silver Ghost? A Dodge Demon?
Impala SS cruising to work in the morning last week. Spotted yesterday, a first in a long time, if not the first time ever, a Jaguar X-Type Estate wagon...rare bird. And on Monday, driving back to Philly from southern DE on the highway:

He's baaaaacccckkkkkk......
Welcome back! It is tough with sales/manager hours in the auto business to do much of anything after (back to back 9-9 days get to you, ha). Glad to see you doing well...and jealous of CA.

Shucks again. I'm close now, but work Friday & Saturday. Looks like nice weather, now heating up again for the weekend.

Glad I don't work in the auto service industry...
The condition people get their cars into is astounding daily...since being in sales for over a year now, the "I don't wanna touch it" trade in test is common. Smells, seats and steering wheels so disgusting you want a full body suit and try not to touch...even when they're only a few years old.

It's coming!
It is still in the 50's outside. October it is. That was a quick turn. Now to the holidays...hopefully come slowly. Not ready for year end.
