Naturally, such an important component of automobile design requires a strict selection process. It certainly is a SAD time to be a car enthusiast...

If I didn't have my classics and work in the industry, I probably wouldn't care at all anymore.

Even the performance models have $h!ty styling these days.

Everything just looks so BLATANTLY plastic... We used to disguise plastics by keeping the proportions of the car and making it at least LOOK solid or metal. Not anymore.

Most new compacts look like a damn Chinese blender... A few cheap "sporty" cues here, some "accent chrome" there, an voila! Instant "quality" product.

Case in point: look at the new 'updated' Spark... I didn't think it was possible to make that $h! box look worse, but somehow they figured out a way to do it.

Also, so many cars today have alot of the 'styling' in the light clusters...

Soem trends I've noticed over the last decade is the growth in size of the brand badge, the growth of the size of the grille, and the standardization of badge placement (center of grille) and the standardization of grill shape...various trapazoids.

As I thought this out, there are very few cars right now that don't fit this chart. The Challenger being one that jumps to mind first.... other than that... this is pretty much how it goes.

Buick Regal looks fantastic from the front though...as does the Fusion. I know they fit the profile, but the styling from the front on both of these is growing on me.
