So on the Avalanche... they are discontinuing Victory Red with the color it replaced, Sunburst Orange II, just a little bit weird.

Sweet! I've been waiting for this! Thanks for posting-I just have to wait until tomorrow morning (or afternoon depending on how much time I have before my final). I saw a Victory Red Avalanche a few days ago too-that's like one of the everlasting colors at GM-the others being 41U Black and 50U Summit White, and that's perfectly fine (though for the cars I prefer 27U Precision/Crimson/Scarlett Red as on the W-Bodies).

I noticed that some of the vehicles had a fleet opt out option for the curtain airbags. Now, I can see XM, Onstar, and standards like that, but why allow an opt out of a safety feature as important as airbags? I understand the cost factor, but wouldn't it be better off( for GM and the purchaser) to keep fleet driving employees alive? Other than that, I see this coming year a positive one for GM.

No Lucerne Super then?

I believe the Lucerne Super will go on sale in 2008 as a 2009 model. Look for it in the 2009 GM Car & Truck Guide.
