There are a host of GM cars are featured in this new video! That is product placement! I saw three Oldsmobiles( 2 Cutlasses and a 1966 Toronado), several new Saturns( Astra, VUE, SKY), Pontiac Trans Am, Chevrolet (2 Camaros and truck), 1970 Cadillac and Cadillac XLR-V, and Buick Reatta...

What no 1969 Pontiac Custom-S?

Did you know there was a time when GM almost bought Harley Davidson through it's EDS subsidiary, back in the 90's?

'Triumph the Insult Comic Dog' said it best when he described the Bon Jovi sound like. "Bruce Springsteen... Coming out of my ass" :P

I'm not sure if this is such a great commercial. Sure, Bon Jovi has way more talent than 92% of musicians today, (and that's not including the "myspace bands" because they simply suck ass) but I doubt it'll sway any more buyers.

Hell, I have a bad feeling this could become the butt of jokes. Bon Jovi isn't exactly revered by younger people these days, and is more associated with Budweiser swilling, unemployed New Jersey'ers with teased hair.

Bon Jovi = Lame.

I swear, I thought that band was done, but the nightmare apparently continues.

If you take out the teased, bleached hair, and Richie Sambora's stupid hat, and talkbox, you might find Bon Jovi is a credible act. They can churn out decent music, and sometimes even great material.

Unfortunately, their image follows them, and that can hurt GM.

When it comes to music, I'm not sure GM can win. If they use the crappy 'indie' music of today, people say they are trying too hard to be hip. If they use 'This is our Country' , they're "pandering" to patriotism. I'm sure if GM made a commercial featuring the G8, and Solstice, and it had the Crue's 'Kickstart my Heart' , they'd be blasted as misogynistic, cock-rock, American excess peddling pigs...

LOL @ Reata ragtop.

As nice as the Saturn Sky & Caddy XLR are I'd take

that 1967/1968 Cadillac four door or 1969 Pace Car

Camaro over any modern car...

The white Typhoon was certainly a cool surprise.

Oldsmoboi: For the record, I'd much rather go to a

Jon Bon Jovi concert than own a W-body.
