2006 Monte Carlo

Featured Replies

Has anybody heard what the huge delay is with the 2006 Monte carlo? The Impala has been out for months now and everything except for the Lucerne has been introduced. I mean it's not like this car is all new!
I was at the factory yesterday in Oshawa. There are thousands of 06 Monte Carlos built already! They are being shipped out now, so they should start appearing in the next few weeks! They look pretty good in person. If you look quick at the front, you may mistaken it for an Impala though!

I also saw a GP GXP on a truck coming from Oshawa yesterday.

Awesome, I was wondering why I had seen an Impala SS (all black, real nice) and not a GP GXP yet. Was that Nascar crap really the reason behind the delay?
There was a rumor floating around that the delay in MC deliveries had something to do with NASCAR... But anyway, I checked the GM online vehicle locator a couple days ago, and the car did show up at a couple dealerships.
Prices are finally up at Chevy.com, so if anyone wants to build their own, have at it. It seems as though the LTZ has more standard features than the SS, but the SS has that awesome smallblock.

Now that is interesting..

maybe they could sell the SS as a "package". Now that would be cool. :)
