Some of the details make it look like a next-generation Opel product, specifically the crease along the bottom of the doors that swoops upward toward the base of the A-pillar.

looks like a scion version of a matrix, kinda

Now is that the Dodge Hornet donor car?

Except this actually looks much better than the Matrix, hell it looks better than the Vibe.

Nope...I think the Dodge Breeze is going to be based on a Chery (A3?).. Autoblorg had something about it recently.

This is not bad looking. Definitely one of the better styling efforts from the Chinese.

but smaller...that was my scion part of the comment.

Wow, that's actually pretty well done. I like this look as opposed to the bland/chubby direction that GM Europe appears to be heading towards...

Mixed with an Aveo...

Looks like new lows are being hit with a Chinese car that "looks like this a bit, with a bit of this, and a bit of that." The same can be said for any new car design these days, there are always some similarities with existing models. The styling of the Kalos/Aveo wasn't even Korean; it was from Italian design house Giugiaro, who have also done work for the Chinese in recent years.

The truth of the matter is that this is a fine job by Geely, which, in terms of styling, can hold its own against anything new from Japan or Europe in the A or B segment. I'll be curious to know more about what lies underneath, and I hope they've moved on from the old Daihatsu Charade underpinnings.

Wonder how it will drive?
